Dems Fight To Protect A $600 Billion Medicaid Tax Scam That Joe Biden Tried To Kill

Before Texas’ embarrassment of a congressman, Al Green, was kicked out of the House chamber during President Donald Trump’s address on Tuesday, he shouted “You have no mandate to cut Medicaid!” while pointing a cane at Trump.

Green is dead wrong. Trump does have a mandate. And it comes from none other than Joe Biden.

Republicans are looking at substantial spending cuts to help reduce the nearly $2 trillion deficit and keep the economy moving. And one big, fat, juicy target for savings is a Medicaid funding scam that lets states steal tens of billions of dollars from the federal government every year.

Here’s how this particular scam works.

States tax health care providers and use those funds to help cover their Medicaid costs. Then, the states turn around and increase what they pay these same providers for Medicaid benefits – effectively covering the cost of the tax. Then, because of the way Medicaid is financed, the states can bill the federal government for half of the spending increase.

Let’s say, for example, a state imposes a provider tax on hospitals that raises $100 million. And then it returns that $100 million to the hospitals in the form of higher Medicaid reimbursement rates. There’s been no increase in benefits. Providers aren’t better off. But the state gets an extra $50 million from the federal government’s matching fund, money that it can use for anything it wants. (The fed pays states up to 90% to cover the cost of expanding Medicaid under Obamacare.)

Trump’s tariff plan puts EU economy at risk – Bloomberg

The US president has vowed to impose 25% levies on all imports from the bloc

US President Donald Trump’s plan to impose sweeping tariffs on EU imports could deal a significant blow to the bloc’s economic development, according to Bloomberg. (Maybe that’s the point. Bloomberg doesn’t seem concerned of how they have tariffed the US.)

Trump has stepped up his trade crackdown on the EU, recently claiming the bloc was created to “screw” the US and vowing 25% tariffs on “cars and all other things.” As part of the push, he has slapped a 25% levy on EU steel and aluminum shipments starting March 4.

The report cited European steel producing giant ArcelorMittal SA, which is scaling back jobs and operations at home amid the EU’s “existential”crisis of soaring energy costs and cheap Asian imports. The company has warned that all its European plants face potential closure. Its German rival Thyssenkrupp AG’s steel unit reportedly plans to slash 40% of its workforce in the coming years. (Wait a minute, he just announced this, it couldn’t have an immediate effect so fast, maybe it’s the way the EU managed their money?)

The report noted that while Trump’s “anti-EU hostility has intensified,” theEuropean economy is weaker than it was during his first term, particularly at its core, where France and Germany lag in growth, while the US remains comparatively stronger “as the global engine of demand.” (Proving it was bad money mgmt in the EU).

Ryan Routh’s Attorney Seeks to Test Firearm Involved in Alleged Assassination Attempt Against Trump

The attempted assassination suspect appeared to forgo an insanity defense for the upcoming trial in September.

FORT PIERCE, Fla.—The defense team for Ryan Routh, who is suspected of attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump during the 2024 election, said during a hearing on March 7 that it would like to test fire the gun that was found at Routh’s location near Trump’s golf course in West Palm Beach.

Defense attorney Kristy Militello told U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon that the test could help determine whether the gun was operable and could fire at the distance Routh was from Trump at the golf course last year.

The Department of Justice objected to the test, which would involve a defense expert firing the gun after an independent agent transferred it from the government’s custody.

John Shipley Jr., an attorney with DOJ, called such a test “utterly unprecedented” and that it would be both “irregular” and “unsafe.”

He added that there was no factual basis for it.

An affidavit from FBI Special Agent Mark Thomas stated that Routh was seen fleeing an area where a Secret Service agent saw what appeared to be a rifle poking out of the tree line.

In that area of the tree line, agents found multiple items, including an SKS-style, 7.62x39 caliber rifle with a scope and obliterated serial number.

The March 7 hearing came amid a months-long pre-trial process that was extended by Cannon after a request from the defense. The trial is now set to start in September of 2025 rather than a previously scheduled date in February.

At a hearing in December, Militello seemed to indicate Routh might raise an insanity defense. She said witnesses had described Routh as hallucinating and delusional, and that it could take months to interview experts to evaluate his mental health.

In court on March 7, Militello acknowledged that the defense hadn’t filed something on an insanity defense by the deadline imposed by the court.

DOJ noted this in a March 3 status report, stating that issues related to insanity were “off the table for trial.”

It also stated that the government allowed the defense to inspect the firearm and planned to produce additional discovery materials.

They included “photographs and law enforcement reports memorializing a Jan. 30, 2025 search of the Nissan Xterra,” which Routh is thought to have used in fleeing the scene.

Other named materials included Secret Service radio communications and law enforcement reports summarizing third-party interviews.

Part of the government’s brief is critical of the defense’s discovery.

“Nothing has been provided,” DOJ said while noting that the defense discovery deadlines were “some ways away.”

The mainstream media loves to report on alleged "feuds" between Republican public figures. While sometimes they find nuggets of truth, oftentimes it's half-baked or not true at all, and ends up being nothing more than an obvious attempt at sowing division and drama among party movers and shakers.

So naturally, the MSM has been steady cranking out reports on alleged "tensions" between certain GOP lawmakers, some of Trump's cabinet secretaries, and Musk, with the most recent allegation being that there was a "clash" between Musk and Sec. of State Marco Rubio that supposedly required Trump's intervention.

Here's how the New York Times reported it:

A woke, BLM-supporting Portland-area Democrat County Commissioner resigned on Friday after being indicted on 8 felony counts of theft, identify theft, and forgery.

Clackamas County Commissioner Melissa Fireside was charged with 8 felony counts of forgery and identify theft related to stealing tens of thousands of dollars from an 83-year-old man.

Melissa Fireside was elected in November 2024. The alleged crimes took place in September 2024.

“The defendant, on or between September 17, 2024 and September 26, 2024, in Clackamas County, Oregon, did unlawfully and knowingly commit theft of money, of the total value of $10,000 or more, the property of Arthur Wayne Petrone,” the indictment read.

Melissa Fireside stole an additional $5,000 from Arthur Wayne Petrone, according to the charging documents.

“The defendant, on or between September 19, 2024 and September 26, 2024, in Clackamas County, Oregon, in a separate and distinct criminal episode from counts 1 and 2 above, did unlawfully and knowingly commit theft of money, of the total value of $1,000 or more, the property of Arthur Wayne Petrone. The State further alleges that the property stolen had a value of $5,000 or more,” the indictment read.

According to the indictment, Melissa Fireside used forged signatures to wire promissory notes for $30,000.

A Clackamas County commissioner accused of theft and forgery earlier this week has stepped down from her position after a fellow leader called for her to resign.

In a statement issued, Clackamas County Chair Craig Roberts personally requested Commissioner Melissa Fireside’s departure. Officials announced she submitted her resignation letter on Friday, effective immediately.

“I recognize that for many, this decision is not soon enough, and I know how difficult and upsetting this situation has been for our community, and I want to thank you for making your voices heard,” Roberts said in a statement. “The Board remains committed to fulfilling our responsibilities to you and ensuring that the business of Clackamas County continues to move forward.”

The county administrator has already started searching for a new commissioner with a website that outlines the hiring process. Roberts said the community will remain informed throughout the process, as “public involvement is crucial.”

Fireside was elected as commissioner in November, replacing former county leader Mark Shull. Although the allegations against Fireside were publicized just this week, she was indicted for first-degree aggravated theft, first-degree theft, two counts of computer crime, two counts of identity theft and two counts of first-degree forgery on Feb. 28.

A gay couple from Georgia will spend the rest of their lives in jail after they were convicted of sexually abusing their two adopted sons. The two accused, William and Zachary Zulock, have been sentenced to 100 years in prison each without the chance of parole, The New York Post reported, quoting the Walton County District Attorney's office.

William is 34 years old, while Zachary is 36. They earlier adopted the two brothers, who have now turned 12 and 10, from a Christian special-needs agency. The children were raised by the gay couple under the guise of a happy family in the affluent Atlanta suburb.

District Attorney Randy McGinley noted that William and Zachary "truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else".

McGinley added, "However, the depth of the Defendants' depravity, which is as deep as it gets, is not greater than the resolve of those that fought for justice and the strength of the victims in this case." 

The District Attorney noted the resolve he has seen from the two young boys during the last two years is "truly inspiring”.

While Zachary works in the banking sector, William is serving as a government employee. Despite being well settled in their lives, the two would force the young brothers to have sex with them on a regular basis, besides filming the abuse for making pedophilic pornography.

Not just that, they even used to brag about the alleged abuse to some of their friends in the community. Evidence found by police has confirmed this claim.

William and Zachary were arrested in 2022.

One of the couple's friends told police that Zachary once shared images of one of the boys being abused on Snapchat and wrote, "I'm going to f*** my son tonight. Stand by”.

The two accused even used social media platforms to pimp the two brothers to at least two men in the local paedophile sex ring, The New York Post report said.

They were arrested after police caught an alleged member of the ring downloading child porn.

The person later informed the investigators how William and Zachary used to make porn videos with their two young adopted sons living in their house.

In the court, the two accused pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated child molestation as well as sexual exploitation of children.
