China Starts "Debt Shaming": New App Warns Users If They Are Walking Near Someone In Debt

Authorities in the northern Chinese province of Hebei have rolled out an app over WeChat which can tell people if they're walking near someone in debt, according to China Daily.

The program, aptly named "map of deadbeat debtors," flashes a warning if someone in debt is within a 500-meter radius - showing their exact location according to a screenshot of the app.

Whether the app reveals the debtors' names or photos is unknown, nor does China Daily mention how much money is owed or to whom - but according to paper the app allows people to "whistle-blow on debtors capable of paying their debts."

"It's a part of our measures to enforce our rulings and create a socially credible environment," said a spokesman for the Higher People's Court of Hebei - which is behind the app.

The "map of deadbeat debtors" is yet the latest in China's push towards a shame-based "social credit score" system which has already been deployed in several parts of the country. According to a November report, Beijing has an ambitious plan to control China's citizens through a system of social scoring that punishes behavior it does not approve.

I often get information in dreams but not very often and only in symbolic form. This dream was sometime after 911. Seems to refer to this exact moment in time and what goes on here in QResearch. Like a pointer.

DREAM:

I am in a bustling marketplace within a bakeshop. There is a baker and an enormous mound of rising bread on a square wooden table.

Then I see a carnival ride with Disney-like teacups with 3 seats arranged in a triangle. You get in, and it goes into a dark area, like a scary ride.

On the other side is a bank; has a 1776-ish feeling. For some reason, two things come to mind: Alexander Hamilton and $25,000.

I must make a decision: to be involved or not. I guess I say no (although I don't remember it). I am returned to the marketplace, but now it is all boarded up and deserted. I try to go to the front of the bank, but it is secured with a very heavy chain.

I feel completely desolate. Like it was a failed test. As a result, I never forget this dream. Six months ago, I come onto this board and realize it's all about the American Revolution, bakers, bread (both real and money), and banks.

In the last month, "Hamilton" has become a big deal. Why? Many theories. For me, it's a link to the dream.

The teacup ride into the dark has something to do with children in danger, I think, and going down the rabbit hole. You can't go into the bank directly, only thru this secret back way.

I never knew what the $25,000 meant. Until today. Just add six zeros: $25,000,000,000. The price of the Wall.

Trump preparing two State of the Union speeches for different audiences

President Donald Trump is preparing for two different State of the Union speeches – one a more traditional address delivered to Congress in the House chamber or some other location in D.C., the other prepared for a political rally at a location outside of Washington, D.C. that has yet to be determined, according to multiple sources familiar with the planning.

Sources told ABC News that the president was previously planning two separate versions of the State of the Union – one version if the government was still shut down and another if the government was open.

However, now the planning has evolved, assuming the government shutdown could drag on past next Tuesday – the expected delivery date of the address. If the president decides to deliver a speech in rally form, it would mark the first rally style event the president has attended since the partial shutdown began.

As part of the ongoing political tit-for-tat between Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., Republicans are encouraging Trump to force Pelosi to officially disinvite him, by suggesting the president announce he still intends to deliver the State of the Union from the House chamber, according to Republican sources involved in the discussions.

A senior administration official confirmed to ABC News that the White House has sent an email to the House Sergeant at Arms requesting a walkthrough of the chamber to prep for the State of the Union address. The White House is still moving forward as planned on the address as they wait to hear whether Pelosi is officially rescinding her invitation.

Wed Jan 23, 2019 08:11AM [Venezuela has announced a decision to fully revise its diplomatic relations with the United States, claiming that Washington has given “orders” for a coup in the socialist Latin American country.

During a radio and TV broadcast on Tuesday, President Nicolas Maduro ordered Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza to begin “a total revision of relations” with Washington.

He also pledged to announce a new foreign policy regarding Washington imminently.

Maduro’s remarks came in response to comments made earlier on Tuesday by US Vice President Mike Pence.

Pence published a video message voicing Washington’s support for Venezuelan protesters and opposition leaders before anti-government demonstrations planned for Wednesday. In the message, Pence described Maduro as a “dictator with no legitimate claim to power.”

“As the good people of Venezuela make your voices heard tomorrow, on behalf of the American people, we say: estamos con ustedes. We are with you,” Pence said.

Maduro referred to that statement as an “order” for a coup in Venezuela.

“What the government of the United States did through Vice President Mike Pence was to give orders to carry out a coup from the fascist state… which is unparalleled in the history of relations between the United States and Venezuela in 200 years,” the Venezuelan president said.

‘Yankee, go home!’

Other Venezuelan officials also slammed Pence.

“Yankee, go home! We won’t let them interfere in the affairs of the homeland,” Maduro’s Vice President Delcy Rodriguez said.

Communications Minister Jorge Rodriguez accused Pence of having ordered “terrorists” to carry out acts of violence on Wednesday.

Counter-demonstrations are planned for Wednesday.

The opposition in Venezuela is currently led by the National Assembly President Juan Guaido.

Guaido, 35, a legislator from the hard-line Popular Will opposition party and an arch-foe of Maduro, has called for the military to disavow Maduro.

He promised a future amnesty for those who help topple the government.

“We’re not asking you to launch a coup d’etat, we’re not asking you to shoot. We’re asking you not to shoot at us,” Guaido told members of the military on Monday.

On the same day, some two dozen officers seized a military outpost near the presidential palace in Caracas but soon surrendered.

1. First sit in an upright and comfortable meditation posture: back straight, chin tilted forward, mouth closed, tongue resting against the top of your mouth, eyes either intense and fully open or relaxed and half open.

Imagine a very small and very hot ball of light in the central channel and your breath ignites this fiery ball and makes it extremely hot. Now exhale completely and hold it. Hold your exhaled breath, your lungs empty, there in that ball of heat at the navel, for 5-15 seconds (experienced yogis can hold the breath here for several minutes). WARNING: stop immediately and breathe normally if you get dizzy or lightheaded.

1. This next step is optional but helps to generate even more heat and focused attention: As you are holding the breath inside the central channel at the small ball of heat just below the navel, draw energy up from below and down from above and lock and trap it in the ball of heat. Draw it up by activating the perineum muscle (like you are holding back from urinated), hold this muscle and lock it in. Simultaneously swallow some saliva down to get the feeling of pushing down on the ball of heat at the navel and lock it in. Experiment with this. You may wish to lock it in by drawing up from below first and then push down from above, or vice vera. Do what feels best for you to get the sense you are locking in a tremendous amount of energy in a tiny space at the navel.

1. Now release all the energy you have created – straight up through the central and bursting out the top of your head like a fountain. As the energy rushes up through the central channel it blows away any blockages in all the chakras from the solar plexus, the heart, the throat, the third eye and crown chakra. this energy cleanses and purifies your entire body mind system. You can also imagine releasing the energy into parts of your body you need to heal.

1. Repeat steps 2-6

…try Inner Fire Meditation for 2-5 minutes to begin with. Do not practice for extended periods of time until you become familiar with the practice and feel confident and strong enough to do so.

Held at the home of family member Mary Nixon Hiltbrand and her husband, Dave of Berwyn, guests had an opportunity to learn about Eddie’s House, a place which provides young adults who have aged out of foster-care system, with housing and other support services so that they may move on to lead productive lives.

Among those spreading the word was Ardmore resident Sharon McGinley, the tireless crusader and mastermind of Eddie’s House. McGinley dedicates her time to help these young adults who sometimes fall through the system.

After a touching program, the afternoon featured lots of food and a barn filled with area artists’ works which were sold with a portion of the profits going to Eddie’s House. Proceeds raised will definitely help all of Eddie’s House children.

She will also play a major role in questioning any Trump administration officials that are investigated by the powerful panel.

The 29-year-old Democratic-Socialist of New York joined the committee on Tuesday and is joined by fellow liberal Congress freshmen Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts and Ro Khanna of California.

Ocasio-Cortez also confirmed her new position by retweeting posts about her membership Tuesday evening.
