Far from rejecting magic practitioners, Judaism β€” or at least Kabbalistic strands of it β€” has long embraced them. But these aren’t the pagan dark arts associated with Halloween

 

Occult practices and totems are a mainstay of Halloween season, and sage bundles, altars and crystals are an increasingly trendy way to dabble in divination and witchcraft. But the spooky supernatural world also has a long history in Judaism, and modern β€œJewitches” are encouraging the connection β€” though their practices often slightly differ from their non-Jewish contemporaries.

 

β€œI do not burn sage,” said Zo Jacobi, who runs Jewitches, a popular blog and podcast that deep dives into ancient Jewish myths and folkloric practices. The sage-related ritual of β€œsmudging,” an Indigenous ceremony popular among modern witches for cleansing a person or place of negative energy, β€œis not a Jewish practice,” she said. β€œBut Jews had crystals. Actually, they were called β€˜gems.’”

 

Jacobi and her peers are revitalizing ancient Jewish practices of witchcraft, which have been seeing something of a revival as of late. Far from having an uneasy relationship with magic practitioners, Judaism β€” or at least Kabbalistic strands of it β€” has long embraced them.

 

Jacobi, based in Los Angeles, studies those gems’ role in Jewish ritual, along with the connections between assorted other magical artifacts and Judaica. Eight shelves in her home are filled with books on Judaism as well as Jewish magic, witchcraft and folklore.

 

Her studies have revealed the historical ways that items like gems have been used in Jewish magical correspondences. Like healing crystals, gems are meant to protect and heal based on their properties, according to the Midrash (Numbers Rabbah 2:7), or rabbinic interpretation of the Bible. For example, sapphire was thought to strengthen eyesight.

 

β€œIt’s in a medieval text called the β€˜Sefer Ha-Gematriaot,’” Jacobi said. β€œBut even if we go to the Torah, we see crystals on the breastplates of the kohanim [high priests of Israel].”

 

Many Jewish rituals today have their roots in warding off demons, ghosts and other mythological creatures. When we break glass at a wedding, scholars say, we’re not just remembering the destruction of the Temple; we’re also scaring off evil spirits that may want to hurt the bride and groom. Likewise, ancient Jews believed that the mezuzah β€” a small box affixed to the doorpost containing biblical verses on parchment β€” protected them from messengers of evil, a function parallel to that of an amulet or good-luck charm.

 

β€œThe mezuzah is absolutely an amulet,” said Rebekah Erev, a Jewish feminist artist, activist and kohenet (Hebrew priestexx, a gender-neutral term for β€œpriest” or β€œpriestess”) who uses the pronouns they/them and teaches online courses on Jewish magic. β€œI consider it to be a reminder of the presence of spirit, of goddess, of shechinah [the dwelling or settling of the divine presence of God]. Much of magic is about reminding ourselves that we’re all connected and that everything is alive and animate.”

You want to know something. I was just chatting with a little bird. The little bird reminded me that they rigged the election in 2016. We had all kinds of fraud and some repeats in the 2020 election. Trump won 2016 and played it cool. He acted like the important part was that he won….not the election fraud.

 

Trump passed those election laws before he went out. Step by step it looks like he set a trap if you think about it, but only time will tell I guess because we are one year in to a stolen presidency and we still have Dementia Joe in there.

NJ pharma exec followed 50 miles from casino, killed in his home

A wealthy pharmaceutical executive was followed for 50 miles from a Pennsylvania casino to his New Jersey home where he was murdered in an attempted robbery while his wife and daughter were sleeping, according to police.

 

Sree Ranga Aravapalli, 54, cashed out his night’s big winnings β€” about $10,000 β€” in the early morning hours of Tuesday at the Parx Casino in Bensalem when he was spotted with the loot by 27-year-old Jekai Reid-John, of Norristown, Pa.

 

Reid-John, who did not know Aravapalli, followed the exec in his car as he drove back to his quiet, affluent neighborhood in Plainsboro, NJ, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.

 

Just after 3:30 a.m., Plainsboro police responded to a report of shots fired in Aravapalli’s typically sleepy neighborhood, officials said.

 

Police found Aravapalli at the scene with several gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities said. Investigators determined that it was an attempted robbery.

 

A camera at a nearby farmstand caught footage of Avarapalli driving home in the early morning, with Reid-John trailing him close behind, police told NBC 4. The same camera later caught him driving back.

Reid-John was arrested and charged on Tuesday in Montgomery County, Pa. with one count of first-degree murder. The arrest came the same day that Avarapalli’s family and friends mourned at Avarapalli’s funeral service at a cemetery in South Brunswick, NBC reported.

OK, here is the one chart which should convince ANYONE with a functioning brain that there was manipulations to the 2020 election. This shows how, during the 4th of November, when all those counties had stopped counting, there was a massive 50 state reset and rebuild. The orange line is the total votes reported by Edison for all states added up during the election. The green is the trump to biden vote ratio at the time. (In other words, if the ratio is 100, then it's a tie. Above 100 means Trump is leading, below shows that Biden is leading.

 

Note that it took almost 2 days for the national vote total to regenerate to where it was when the resets began.

 

It's all fiction, folks. And I caught them. We all did.

American Airlines has canceled hundreds of flights over Halloween weekend, pointing to weather disruptions in Texas and tight staffing.

 

The Texas-based carrier canceled more than 450 flights nationwide and delayed more than 250 on Saturday, according to flight tracker Flight Aware. More than 300 Sunday flights have also been canceled.

 

In a Saturday letter to staff shared with USA TODAY, American Airlines said the cancellations were caused by two days of severe winds in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Investigators Raid Three Locations Of Parlor Pizza Restaurant

Police raided a popular pizza restaurant’s three locations on Wednesday morning, assisting the Illinois Department of Revenue with an unspecified criminal investigation, sources told CBS 2.

Chicago Police officers and employees with the city’s Buildings Department were taking pictures inside the Parlor Pizza restaurant at 405 N. Dearborn St. in River North. It appeared the popular pizza chain was being investigated for a possible financial crime.

Investigators were also at the restaurant’s Wicker Park location, 1824 W. Division St., and the West Loop location, 108 N. Green St. Agents were seen sitting inside the West Loop shop with stacks of boxes, CBS 2’s Jackie Kostek reported. Investigators spent several hours inside the three locations, which remained closed on Wednesday.

Employees who showed up to work in River North were locked out and had no idea what was going on, CBS 2’s Tara Molina reported.

Officers could be seen through the windows standing inside at the River North location, and going in and out through the alley side entrance.

David Shapiro lives steps from the Wicker Park location, and took pictures of folded evidence boxes in the hands of a special agent and a heavy police presence.

β€œIt’s a big restaurant – a big chain. I’ve been there many times myself, so I was just curious to see what was going on,” Shapiro said. ”A staple in the area and the city – so disturbing for sure.”

In a statement, the Illinois Department of Revenue said: β€œIn the event of potential violations of the Illinois Tax Act and related offenses, our Bureau of Criminal Investigations will investigate potential violations. The Illinois Department of Revenue cannot comment on ongoing investigations, however, or their existence.”

An official with Chicago’s Business Affairs and Consumer Protection Department said the restaurants have active, applicable licenses and β€œare in good standing.” The Chicago office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation said it was not part of today’s action.

An attorney for Pizza Parlor declined to comment.

In 2017, Parlor Pizza was sued in federal court for failing to pay overtime wages for former dishwashers.

That matter was settled in February, 2018.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that COVID cases plummeted in India thanks to new rules that promote Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine to its massive population.

 

The 33 districts in Uttar Pradesh, India have now become free from COVID-19 government announced last month. The recovery rate has increased up to 98.7% proving the effectiveness of IVERMECTIN as part of the β€œUttar Pradesh Covid Control Model.” Of course, the media won’t mention that Ivermectin is being used for the treatment of COVID-19.

 

This state has an estimated population of 241 million people in 2021 and has the highest population in India. This is almost two-thirds of the United States population in 2021 and yet it is now a COVID-19 free nation.

 

So what could the United States be doing wrong? Let’s ask Dr. Fauci.

 

Last August, the government of UP issued a notification to have Ivermectin (12 mg) tablets. The Dialogue reported:

 

β€œThe government notification reads, β€œDoctors are advising to take ivermectin 12 mg to contain the impact of pandemic. This medicine is quite effective in protecting from covid-19. Therefore, we appeal each and every citizen to have this tablet.”

 

The notification then goes on to explain the dosage: For positive patients isolated at home (one tablet per day for three days and for primary and secondary contacts (one tablet each on the first and 7th day).”

 

Uttar Pradesh is the leading state in India to use Ivermectin as early and preventatively in all family contacts. And this state has one of the five lowest COVID cases of all states in India despite having only a low vaccination rate.

 

Only about 20% of adults in Uttar Pradesh are fully vaccinated and only about 32 million got their second dose out of 241 million people. Uttar Pradesh has the lowest vaccine coverage as of now in all states in India.

 

Despite having the lowest vaccination rate, at least 71 out of 75 districts in Uttar Pradesh reported zero fresh Covid-19 cases on October 19th and 42 districts continued to remain Covid-free.

 

The Times of India reported:

 

At least 71 out of total 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh reported zero fresh Covid-19 cases on Tuesday with the remaining four districts accounting for 12 new patients in the last 24 hours. The number of active Covid cases stood at 118 in the last 24 hours.

 

With no new or active cases, 42 districts continued to remain Covid-free. The daily Covid case count in the state has not crossed 50 for around two months.

 

β€œDespite aggressive tracing and testing, UP’s positivity rate, which shows the level of infections in the people, has been registering a steady decline for several days indicating that Covid is receding from the state,” a government official said.

 

As of October 29, only 8 active cases were recorded. Here is the latest data of COVID-19 cases in Uttar Pradesh.

 

Both Uttar Pradesh and Delhi have seen an incredible drop in COVID-19 cases because they use Ivermectin early and preventatively. Whereas Kerala, a tiny state located in southern India that is over-dependent on vaccines and less dependent on Ivermectin, has been reporting a significant increase in COVID-19 cases last August. Keep in mind that Uttar Pradesh has eight times larger population than Kerala.

 

As of October 29, Kerala recorded 7,722 new COVID-19 cases. Here is the latest data of COVID-19 cases in Kerala.

 

Despite the success of Ivermectin, the government is still pushing the vaccination drive to its constituents and are planning to deliver vaccine doses to 100% eligible population of the state by December 15. They’re doing this to give the credit to the vaccine.

The Gateway Pundit also reported the success of Ivermectin in Indonesia after the government granted the Emergency Use Authorization for Ivermectin as the therapeutic drug to cure the Covid-19.

The employee's actions triggered an electronic alarm system, according to sources familiar with the probe.[6] TAC strongly disavowed the employee's actions in a subsequent press release.[7]

Dear Governor Ducey,

As I was recently confirmed by the Senate to serve as United States Ambassador to the United Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture, I must relinquish my role as co-chair of the Arizona Human Trafficking Council, effective today. It has been my distinct honor to serve on this Council since its inception in 2013, and inspiring to do so alongside a talented cadre of dedicated public servants, researchers, service providers, law enforcement representatives and survivors, all of whom share the singular goal of making Arizona a leader in the fight against human trafficking. I applaud your leadership in supporting efforts to eradicate trafficking in our state and I am grateful that you participated alongside me when it was a task force and pleased that you made this council permanent when you became Governor. We have achieved so much working together as a council, and there is continued work to be done to protect the most vulnerable against the horrors of trafficking. The Council's accomplishments in the past eight years have included providing training on how to identify, report and respond to victims of trafficking to over 44,000 professionals and community members statewide, including: legislators, law enforcement, medical professionals, tribal communities, school staff, faith based organizations, and businesses. The Council has hosted an annual Arizona Human Trafficking Symposium, bringing together statewide human trafficking task forces and coalitions, county attorneys, law enforcement, service providers and other stakeholders to work collaboratively to improve Arizona's response to trafficking. The Council has supported over 30 research studies that illuminate the human trafficking landscape in Arizona and provide insight on how systems of care can better aid survivors of human trafficking. We are encouraged by the successful passage of legislation that strengthens protections for victims, increases penalties for perpetrators, and requires prevention education for children in DCS care. Arizona will always be my home, and I will continue to watch with interest the work of this council and the great progress being made in our state on combatting trafficking. Thank you for your confidence, it has been a privilege to serve on the Arizona Human Trafficking Council.
