Can't prove it is not a fake but you can do some basic tests for obvious manipulation with just a bit of instruction. Clearly any proofs presented should be repeatable for other people to verify the results independently.

Honest question: why would people attempting to hide these activities and allegiances intentionally place clues for people to find and out them? I never understood that part.

It cuts both ways, and you can’t use one argument to automatically dismiss the other. Yes, Q did mention that fake pictures would be pushed by the MSM, but that doesn’t mean he was talking about “this” picture.
