How can 84% of Chicago Public Schools students graduate when only 26% of 11th graders are proficient in reading, math?

 

It’s shameful. Chicago Public School officials want to celebrate a record graduation rate when much of the other data shows they are failing Chicago’s children.

 

Only 26 percent of CPS 11th-graders can read and do math at grade level, according to the latest Illinois Report Card data, and yet last week the district proudly announced that 84 percent of students graduated from CPS in 2021 – a new record high.

 

First of all, color us skeptical about that record high rate. Everyone knows that the city’s children were underserved by remote learning – the failures were reported ad nauseum by the press. Announcing record graduation rates is a way for district officials to sweep those failures under the rug.

 

But there’s a more fundamental problem: the graduation rate distracts from the fact that CPS officials are pushing out poorly educated children.

 

Only 26 of Chicago 11th-graders are proficient in English Language Arts and only 27 percent proficient in math according to 2019 Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) data.

 

Unsurprisingly, the farce continues. District officials now say they want to hit a 90 percent graduation rate by 2024.

 

Forget the graduation rate. Focus, instead, on whether the kids can read or write at grade level.

A new report on the forensic audit of Maricopa County, Ariz. has scored another major win for President Trump and proponents of election integrity.

 

Cyber Ninjas, the independent firm that spearheaded the 2020 presidential election audit in Arizona, responded to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors’ repeated claims that the election process in their county was safe and secure:

 

“Maricopa County continues to purposely mislead Arizonans and the American public about the nature of audit findings, and the impact they had on the 2020 General Election. Their response renames and redefines audit findings so the claim can be made that the findings are false, includes logical sounding arguments that simply don’t add up, and is completely devoid of any supporting evidence.”

 

President Trump this week also slammed the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors in a statement, calling them “RINOs” who have been spreading “outright lies” about the findings of the forensic audit.

 

“The board provided zero evidence for their false claims,” Trump fired off, “including no accounting for the 12,772 illegal ballots (more than the election margin alone) who moved outside of Maricopa County before the election.”

 

“They have no valid answer for how there were more early ballots returned by voters than received, why their official results did not match who voted, why there were more duplicate ballots than originals, or why they deleted and purged their Election Management System data in defiance of a subpoena, which is against the law, and they did on the day before the audit began,” he continued.

According to the detailed review of the 2020 presidential election that was released in late September, Maricopa County’s forensic auditors and canvassers reported 698,239 problematic ballots, including duplicates, ballots with non-verified signatures, and ghost voters.

 

Additionally, a new independent analysis on Pima County has shown that election irregularities were not limited to Maricopa alone. In Pima County, a limited analysis identified 17,322 duplicate ballots, 9,000 more mail-in voters than ballots, more than 20,000 voters via mail-in voting who have moved to different locations, and 2,383 voters who no longer lived in the same county.

 

Based on these findings, it appears that election irregularities were widespread throughout the state, and the sheer numbers of problematic ballots vastly outweighs the slim margin of presidential victory in the state for Joe Biden, which was just over 10,000 votes.

 

“The Presidential Election in Arizona (and in numerous states) was a Fraud,” President Trump said this week. “Maricopa County officials lied, and then tried to cover it up. Now they are facing criminal liability since defying a subpoena and deleting election records are serious crimes. Hopefully, Attorney General Mark Brnovich will do something about it.”

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich has previously made light of the election audit situation in Arizona, despite having received pressure to investigate allegations and reports of fraud from conservative lawmakers like Arizona state Sen. Wisconsin audit results are IN: Dozens of discrepancies discovered

 

he Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau has concluded their allegedly nonpartisan audit of the 2020 presidential election, claiming that it was “safe and secure.” This comes on the heels of a nationwide push to audit all 50 states, a movement spearheaded by conservative, pro-Trump lawmakers and activists who strongly believe that the 2020 presidential election was compromised by copious amounts of fraudulent mail-in ballots.

 

The widespread allegations of election fraud are hardly new. The Maricopa County 2020 presidential election revealed shocking election irregularities, identifying nearly 700,000 problematic ballots, followed by an equally as disturbing independent analysis of Pima County, Ariz., which also revealed tens of thousands of additional ballot discrepancies.

 

President Trump himself has often referred to the 2020 presidential election as “rigged,” and has demanded decertification or even a new election in states where the audit findings have uncovered staggering levels of reported fraud.

 

The Wisconsin audit has been highly anticipated, especially in light of Joe Biden’s narrow margin of victory at just 21,000 votes in the state. However, according to Matt Batzel, a Wisconsin election activist and director of the American Majority conservative grassroots organization, the Legislative Audit Bureau allegedly did not examine ballot curing at all, which has been a major proponent of election fraud across the country.

 

Despite the media’s claims that the Wisconsin audit was perfectly fair and secure, the Audit Bureau’s own report stated that 6.9 percent of ballot envelopes reviewed were missing witness information, which could represent tens of thousands of ballots. Batzel also reported that over “12,000 deceased individuals were left on the voter rolls because clerks ‘made no determination’ on their deaths.” Strangely enough, these dead voters were not removed until after the election was over.

Additionally, OANN anchor Christina Bobb reported this week that 44,272 individuals in Wisconsin allegedly voted without proof of identification.

 

Despite the lingering questions surrounding the irregularities, the Audit Bureau insists that the Wisconsin presidential election was accurate and fair. However, they did identify inconsistent administration of election laws based on their reviews.

 

In fact, the bureau made 30 recommendations for the Wisconsin Elections Commissions to mull over, in addition to 18 legal changes, which would be considered by the legislature.

 

The question, then, begs – how was the election reportedly safe and secure when there were numerous election laws that were admittedly inconsistent during the process of counting and receiving ballots (according to the bureau’s own findings)?

 

State Sen. Kathy Bernier, R-Wis., who formerly served as a county elections clerk and is now the current chair of the Senate Elections Committee, commented that the election audit showed “sloppy” election processes and administration.

 

Further, Sen. Robert Cowles, a Republican and Co-Chair of the Legislature’s Audit Committee, shared many of the recommendations made to the Wisconsin Elections Committee on his Twitter page, which ranged from providing additional training for ballot counting for municipal clerk and equipment vendor operators to guidelines on promulgating administrative rules related to absentee ballots, drop boxes, and witness information.

Former South Carolina GOP Rep. Trey Gowdy is calling out the media for their “overtly partisan” coverage of the U.S. Supreme Court.

 

During a segment on his Fox program “Sunday Night in America,” Gowdy accused the mainstream media of reducing serious and complex legal issues to a “provocative headline and tweet.”

 

Gowdy said he believes court-packing “was and remains a terrible idea,” and chastised the media for its unabashedly partisan coverage on matters relating to the high court.

 

“To the media, just try to at least fake being fair,” he said. “The way you frame issues and court decisions is overtly partisan. It sews the seeds of discord in our country. It treats serious and complex legal issues with a provocative headline and a tweet.”

 

Gowdy argued that the media portrays conservative justices as though they’ll use the bench to “restrict, deny and limit.”

 

“Liberal judges, they want to expand and empower and liberate,” Gowdy said. “The words they [media] use proves their bias, and their bias explains their diminished role in our country and diminished view of the court by the public,” he went on.

 

“Do we want fairness or just a decision we agree with? Can we separate what the law is, from what we want it to be?” the host asked. “Do we have the discipline to win the debate or do we just want to win the Supreme Court vote?”

 

“We don’t need more or fewer justices,” he said. “We don’t need to set their docket or their retirement decisions, we need a court that understands its role…justices who can disagree with — and even dissent from even their own personal feelings, and we need to elevate the virtue of fairness.”

Had to comment on this notable. It's from a brightbart article. There was a protest in what appears to be the Palmdal, CA against vax mandates and a 63 year old guy was on his feet in with the protesters getting into arguments with them. The guy was pro vax. Get this: no one punched him out, no one assaulted him. It appears the only thing that happened is some of the protesters defended the crazy guy's arguments and the crazy guy left.

 

He got in his parked car and drove it into the crowd of protesters putting a woman in hospital. Even though it was clearly a premeditated cold-blooded act with a deadly weapon (his car) to kill or do grievous bodily harm (which he did) the article is saying that he will most likely be charged with road rage. Which is a hot-blooded action while driving one's car on the highway.

 

Of interest is Brightbart's quoting the AAA quoting national statistics saying: Road rage is a factor in more than 50% of all car crashes that end in fatality. Road rage episodes result in about 30deathsand 1800 injuries per year in the United States.

The Los Alamos Reporter has learned that some 185 employees have separated from Triad National Security, LLC at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a result of the COVID-19 vaccine mandate implemented by the Lab for all employees. There are another 153 employees currently in leave without pay or vacation status with a religious exemption that may return to work at LANL when it is safe to do so. Medical exemptions were granted to 26 employees.

 

The numbers were part of an all-hands presentation Thursday by LANL Director Thom Mason. Mason told employees that around 99 percent of Triad employees will be fully vaccinated and that impacts of the mandate are manageable and not a significant deviation from historical attrition. Mason said his ultimate responsibility is “to make sure the people of the Laboratory are safe”.

 

“That is why we determined that masks, social distance and vaccination were needed for an ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) work environment,” he added.

 

Triad will be communicating with employees on vacation/leave without pay about important dates and the criteria for returning to work.

 

The Reporter reached out to LANL late Thursday afternoon for a statement.

 

“The health and safety of our workforce remains our priority and is also vital to ensure our national security mission. Triad is grateful that nearly all employees – about 99 percent – have now taken the most important step to prevent the spread of COVID-19: getting vaccinated,” a Lab spokesperson responded by email. “The Laboratory is well positioned to meet our mission objectives now, and in the future, and we welcome the day when the COVID-19 pandemic ends.”

The FBI Washington Field Office and the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) Office of Special Investigations are asking for the public’s assistance in seeking information about serial sexual offender Brian Jeffrey Raymond.

Brian Jeffrey Raymond, 45, pleaded guilty in July 2021 to two counts of sexual abuse, in which the victims were incapable of consent, and one count of transporting obscene material.

The investigation into Raymond began on May 31, 2020, when a naked woman was seen screaming for help from the balcony of Raymond’s residence in Mexico City. Raymond admitted to having sexual intercourse with her, but the woman reported that she had no memory of events after consuming drinks and food provided by Raymond.

During the investigation, FBI and DSS recovered from Raymond’s electronic devices hundreds of photographs and videos created between 2006 and May 30, 2020, depicting at least 24 unconscious and nude or partially nude women. Almost all of the women in the photos and videos experienced memory loss during their time with Raymond and had no knowledge of the photographs, videos, or any physical contact.

In the plea agreement, Raymond admitted to having sexual intercourse with two of the women depicted when both were unable to appraise the nature of the conduct. He also admitted that over the course of 14 years, he recorded and/or photographed unconscious and nude or partially nude women and touched their breasts, buttocks, and/or genitalia while they were incapable of consent.

Raymond previously worked for many years at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). In the United States and internationally, Raymond met many of his victims on various dating applications. He speaks both Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.

Raymond resided in the Washington, D.C., and San Diego areas. Raymond traveled extensively for work and leisure, and lived in numerous countries, including Mexico and Peru. Raymond was living in Mexico City and working at the U.S. Embassy from August 2018 until May 2020.

Raymond is scheduled to be sentenced in the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C,. on February 7, 2022, following a pre-sentencing evidentiary hearing beginning on January 31, 2022. The FBI and DSS are seeking to obtain information about any additional potential victims prior to sentencing. Some women depicted in the recovered photographs and videos remain unidentified.

A Virginia court ruled Monday that there is enough evidence to find that a teen accused of sexually assaulting a fellow student in a Loudoun County high school bathroom in May “engaged in non-consensual sex.”

The Daily Wire broke the story of the sexual assault in Loudoun County last month, bringing to light two alleged rapes at two separate schools, one of which involved Scott Smith’s daughter. Smith was later arrested at a Loudoun County school board meeting — an incident that was later used to argue to the Biden administration that federal intervention was needed to prevent such incidents from rising to the level of “domestic terrorism.”

The teen who appeared in court on Monday is standing trial on two separate cases: one involving a female student at Stone Bridge High School and a different incident in a classroom at Broad Run High School, both in the Loudoun County school district. The teen, who reportedly identifies as “gender fluid” is alleged to have assaulted Scott Smith’s daughter in a girl’s restroom at Stone Bridge while wearing a skirt. Despite indications that he had committed a serious crime, the boy was transferred.

Just months later, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement indicating that a second sexual assault happened at Broad Run.

“A teenager from Ashburn has been charged with sexual battery and abduction of a fellow student at Broad Run High School. The investigation determined on the afternoon of October 6, the 15-year-old suspect forced the victim into an empty classroom where he held her against her will and inappropriately touched her,” the Sheriff’s department said in a release.

Sources told The Daily Wire last month that the two incidents involved the same alleged attacker; later reports from Fox News and the Daily Mail confirmed that the same student was involved in both incidents.

The alleged attacker was expected to plead guilty at a court hearing in Loudoun County on October 14, following the negotiation of a plea agreement. The second attack, however, happened on October 6th, and the Smith family was later told that the two incidents would be dealt with at the same time, during a hearing on October 25th.

On Monday, at the planned hearing, a judge found sufficient evidence that the teen sexually assaulted a fellow student in May. A sentencing hearing will be held at a later date, likely November.

“We are relieved that justice was served today for the Smith’s daughter. This horrible incident has deeply affected the Smith family, and they are grateful for today’s outcome,” the family’s attorney said in a statement.

Pelosi had just delivered a rousing speech, promising the moon to potential donors and voters. Among her promises : full employment, peace on earth, free electricity supply to citizens, and a tax reduction down to 2%. These are all ridiculous proposals, of course. None of this is within the power of any one politician, much less simply a member of the House, but that didn’t stop her from guaranteeing they would be become reality with her reelection. And the democrat audience ate it up, seeming to believe every word.

 

But Nancy knew she was just blowing smoke. She was well aware that she couldn’t deliver on any of it, which led to this conversation with aide, Josephine B. Arron:

 

“I can’t believe they cheered. Were they serious? They were, weren’t they? Un-frickin-believable.

 

Trump proved how dense republican voters are and I guess I just left no doubt that Democrats are the same.

The Department of Education earlier this month tapped the president of the National School Board Association to serve on a federal board that tracks student progress, the latest indication of the Biden administration’s collaboration with the group that compared parents to domestic terrorists.

Education Secretary Miguel Cardona on Oct. 13 appointed National School Board Association president Viola Garcia to the National Assessment Governing Board, which develops the tests used to track student achievement across the country. Garcia was behind a Sept. 29 letter urging President Joe Biden to have the FBI monitor school board meetings for potential violence. The Department of Justice formed a task force on Oct. 4 consisting of the FBI and Justice Department’s national security and civil rights divisions, sparking outrage from parents groups who say the administration is trying to stifle parents who oppose mask mandates and left-wing curricula.

Garcia’s position on the board could raise questions about whether the appointment was linked to her advocacy work at the National School Board Association. Emails reported by the Washington Free Beacon show Garcia coordinated with the Biden White House and Department of Education in the weeks before releasing the controversial letter. "These are troubling times. NSBA has been engaged with the White House and the Department of Education on these and other issues related to the pandemic for several weeks now," Garcia wrote in an Oct. 2 email obtained by the group Parents Defending Education.

The National School Board Association apologized for the letter on Friday, saying there was "no justification" for the language comparing parents to terrorists. Other emails showed that some National School Board Association directors were upset with Garcia for issuing the letter without the board’s input. One director said that the letter’s reference to parents as domestic terrorists inflamed tensions at local school board meetings.

Garcia’s tenure on the governing board began on Oct. 1, according to a Department of Education press release.

Swann, an investigative journalist and founder of Truth in Media began building Sovren in 2017 because he “saw the censorship before it got here.” But he never imagined the tech collusion to censor “misinformation” would be so brazen.

 

“The Marxist progressive movement in this country has seized all the levers of power. It won’t stop. What they are taking today, they are going to take much more tomorrow. A lot of people don’t know what to do.
