Actor Will Smith recently admitted he had contemplated suicide during the taping of a YouTube series about physical fitness and weight loss.

β€œThis began as a journey to get into the best shape of my life,” said the actor in the trailer for β€œBest Shape of My Life,” in which he sets out to lose 20 pounds in 20 weeks.

"Two men in their 30s were found shot dead in northern Israel on Saturday in a suspected double murder.

 

The men β€” identified as Shumi Iskov and his driver β€” were killed in the city of Kiryat Motzkin, adjacent to Haifa. Iskov was known to the police as the leader of the so-called Georgian mafia in the Krayot area in northern Israel.

 

Footage from the scene indicated that the men were found dead inside a car, on Zvulun Hammer street in the northern city.

 

The Magen David Adom ambulance service said its medics were called to the scene shortly after 9 p.m. β€œWe performed medical tests, but they were without vital signs, and we had no choice but to declare their deaths,” an MDA medic said.

The present article describes eight cases of suicide by self-cutting or -stabbing. Seven of the deceased had a history of psychiatric problems. In every case, sharp weapon injuries were observed at typical sites of self-inflicted injury. The self-inflicted injuries varied in severity from a single stab wound to multiple cut wounds. In four cases, hesitation marks were found. Among the remaining four cases without hesitation marks, only one had clothing injuries. Based on the scene investigation by police, it was deduced that each body had been found at or very near the place where the fatal injuries had been sustained. In two cases, toxicological analysis played an important role in discriminating suicide from homicide. In one case, a 52-year-old male stabbed himself fatally after potassium hydroxide ingestion, and in another, a 71-year-old male committed suicide by self-cutting and -stabbing after drinking an alkaline detergent solution. In five of the eight cases, unusual findings such as a single stab wound, multiple cut injuries, no hesitation mark or presence of clothing injuries were found. In these five cases, the psychiatric history of the deceased contributed to furthering our comprehension of these unusual findings. We believe that thorough toxicological analysis and scene investigation as well as autopsy are essential in discriminating between homicide and suicide. Furthermore, forensic pathologists and forensic physicians at the scene should obtain as much information as possible on the victim's previous character including previous psychiatric history in order to elucidate his or her manner of death.

The family of the deceased soldier and an outside forensic pathologist dispute the Army's findings.

 

Captain Gordon Hess, of Jamestown, New York, was found dead the morning of March 4, 1998, in a creek bed at Fort Knox, Kentucky, while on an exercise with his New York Army National Guard unit.

 

The cause of death was "multiple stab wounds to the neck and chest," an Army official told CNN.

GEO may have to pay even more when a judge on Monday considers separate damages sought by state Attorney General Bob Ferguson, who had filed another lawsuit on behalf of detainees held since 2005. The two lawsuits were consolidated for the first phase of a trial, determining whether GEO was obligated to pay minimum wage.

 

Adam Berger, one of the attorneys representing detainees in the private lawsuit, said he and his colleagues had asked for $13.7 million, but the jury decided the immigrants were owed more. The award is expected to be divided among 10,000 people who were held at the facility since 2014.

 

β€œImmigrants held in GEO’s for-profit facilities are not criminals and should not be beholden to enriching the corporation’s bottom line,” Berger said in a statement. He added that if GEO appeals, no money will be distributed until that process is resolved.

 

GEO maintained that the detainees were not employees under the Washington Minimum Wage Act. DENVER (CBS4) – A man charged with pocketing thousands of dollars he collected for a cancer patient’s treatment pleaded guilty to felony theft Thursday in Denver District Court.

Seems to me it started the thing where parents went along with kids on Halloween. Before then it wasn't to cool to have your parents tagging along, Toddlers were different, of course, but at 6 or 7 it was free range. Older siblings would also take outf the little ones for a couple of streets, too.

 

It also put tampered down the trick part. Soaped windows, toilet paper, egging cars were frequent, at least in my typical suburb in the NE. Payback night for bitchy shopowners.
