On Tuesday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) pressed Maggie Stanphill, director of Google user experience, on the Project Veritas report on "Machine Learning Fairness" and efforts to prevent "the next Trump situation." Stanphill could not name a single executive at the company who voted for Donald Trump in 2016.

Cruz quoted an anonymous whistleblower who spoke with Project Veritas about anti-Trump bias at the company. According to the whistleblower, Google "is bent on never letting somebody like Donald Trump come to power again."

"Do you think it's Google's job to make sure nobody like Donald Trump comes to power again?" Cruz asked Stanphill.

"No sir, I don’t think that is Google’s job," she replied. "And we build for everyone, including every single religious belief, every single demographic, every single region, certainly every political affiliation."

The truck driver involved in the crash, 23-year-old Volodymyr Zhukovskyy, of West Springfield, has pleaded not guilty to seven counts of negligent homicide.

5 Investigates reported that Zhukovskyy has a history of driving under the influence charges and license suspensions. He was involved in a rollover crash in Texas just weeks ago, according to 5 Investigates.

According to Pollack, the Massachusetts RMV did not act on information provided by the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles regarding a May 11 incident that should have triggered the termination of Zhukovskyy's commercial driver's license.

Former MassDOT Chief Operating Officer Jamey Tesler will take over as acting registrar of the RMV. Pollack said Tesler will lead an in-depth review of the Registry's state-to-state data sharing processes to ensure the RMV acts as quickly as possible on any information shared by other states.

“The loss of life in any motor vehicle crash is a terrible tragedy and the massive toll this crash is taking on the families of the seven individuals who lost their lives, many of whom served this country, is impossible to comprehend," Pollack said in a statement. "The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles has a responsibility to enforce the laws governing safe operation of vehicles and carries out its mission to the best of its abilities."

Zhukovskyy received a Massachusetts personal driving license on April 25, 2013, and received a Class A license, or CDL, on Aug. 3, 2018.

His driving record includes a violation for operating under the influence of liquor on June 26, 2013, and a disposition for that violation on June 16, 2013. He served suspensions and attended education classes for this violation, including a youth alcohol program, since he was under the age of 21 at the time.

Zhukovvsyy's driving history did not have the number and type of violations that would have disqualified him under state and federal law from obtaining a Massachusetts CDL in August 2018.

On May 11, 2019, Zhukovskyy received violations for an alleged OUI incident and refusing a chemical test in East Windsor, Connecticut.

When an incident occurs out of state, that state provides information to the Massachusetts RMV to trigger a series of state and federal guidelines regarding license suspensions or revocations for various types of licenses.

The refusal of a chemical test results in the automatic termination of the CDL. The OUI incident would automatically trigger a seven-day notification process for suspension of his noncommercial license, in accordance with Massachusetts law.

To the Massachusetts RMV's knowledge, the Connecticut DMV failed to provide sufficient information through the federal CDL system upon his OUI offense on May 11 and refusal of a chemical test for the violations to automatically apply to his Massachusetts driving record. A notification from the federal CDL system would have resulted in an immediate termination of his CDL.

On May 29, the Connecticut DMV sent a message to the Massachusetts RMV through the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators, the state-to-state messaging system for registries, regarding Zhukovvskyy's OUI on May 11. The message did not contain sufficient information to automatically input his OUI into his Massachusetts driving record, and therefore, did not automatically trigger the seven-day notification process for his noncommercial license suspension in accordance with Massachusetts law.

While the Massachusetts RMV system could not automatically process the message, it generated a notification for manual review. The manual review had not been performed by RMV personnel as of June 23, which is why the May 11 chemical test refusal does not appear on Zhukovskyy's driving record and why his license had not been suspended in Massachusetts.

New Russian S-500 'Prometheus' To Hit Targets In Space, Claims Tech Chief

ussia's defense technology sector is touting that Moscow's newest S-500 ‘Prometheus’ air defense system is capable of reaching targets in space, according to the latest statements from the First Deputy General Director of the VKO Almaz-Antey, Sergei Druzin. The VKO Almaz-Antey, or "Air and Space Defense Corporation" is a Russian state-owned company and the country's largest defense tech contractor.

Druzin told RIA Novosti this week that the S-500 can successfully take out “ballistic missiles of all types” and crucially that it's missiles are capable of “working outside the atmosphere where aerodynamic control is impossible.”

This next generation of deadly Russian anti-air defense systems is expected to enter service (or at least prototype testing) by 2020, with the first group of officers set to begin training courses this year, which Russian media has previously described as forming "the backbone" of the country's integrated air defense and missile defense shield.

Russian reports tout the S-500s range as capable of intercepting inbound projectiles at a distance of 600 kilometers. A prior TASS report said it could reach an altitude of 60km, which would put it in the Mesosphere of Earth's atmosphere — though there's long been debate over where 'outer space' technically begins.

The Russian internet news site Pravda.ru recently issued a report detailing the S-500s impressive sounding specs:

Russian state media began leaking early details of the next generation S-500 at the end of last year, at which point American defense officials began to muse over whether future Russian systems could soon take out US satellites.

It also constitutes a new threat to America's stealth arsenal of jets including the F-22, F-35 and B-2 bomber, as The National Interest previously noted:

…while most of Russia’s defense industry suffered following the collapse of the Soviet Union, Moscow has continued to churn out quality air and missile defense systems. This is evident from systems like the S-400, S-300VM4 and S-350. Once deployed, the S-500 is expected to be networked with these existing systems to provide an integrated defense system. TIP OF THE SPEAR: Veritas Insiders Take On Next Tech Giant

On Monday, Project Veritas will launch our next investigation into the most powerful entities in the world, and it won’t be anything like what the scientist in this scene experienced.

In a recent series called Chernobyl, the head of the KGB confronts a dissident scientist for telling the truth. The KGB Chairman asserts the power of the state and argues that it would be impossible to resist with heroism:

KGB Chairman:

“You’re one of us, Legasov. I can do anything I want with you. But what I want most is for you to know that I know. You’re not brave. You’re not heroic. You’re just a dying man who forgot himself.”

Scientist:

“I know who I am, and I know what I’ve done. In a just world, I’d be shot for my lies, but not for this, not for the truth.”

KGB Chairman:

“Scientists and your idiotic obsessions with reason. When the bullet hits your skull, what will it matter why?

“…Your testimony today will not be accepted by the State. It will not be disseminated in the press. It never happened. No, you will live, however long you have, but not as a scientist, not anymore. You’ll keep your title and your office, but no duties, no authority, no friends. No one will talk to you. No one will listen to you. Other men, lesser men, will receive credit for the things you have done. Your legacy is now their legacy.”

“…You will remain so immaterial to the world around you that when you finally do die, it will be exceedingly hard to know that you ever lived at all.”

Scientist:

“What if I refuse?”

KGB Chairman:

“Why worry about something that isn’t going to happen?”

Something that isn’t going to happen. As Lord Acton once said, “power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Those in power often believe that they are above the law, that resistance is futile.

This was on the mind of the Big Tech insider who is the subject of our next story. As I was recently dropping him off at his hotel room, he was worried about whether his efforts would make a difference. He was even afraid for his life.

He was waiting for our call for a long time. He desired the truth to be disseminated, but he had given up some hope.

I told him we were pursuing the story endlessly since our recent phone call. I told him about all the specific sources and undercover work that we had done; spending 25% of our time treasure and talent working for the last two years trying to expand upon the truth of what he had recently told Project Veritas. We also obtained confidential internal documents corroborating what he told us. I showed these documents to my team, endlessly expressing their importance, and informed him it was my main mission for the last year.

Upon hearing all that we had done, without knowing about it or being given an update for a year, he burst out into tears and hugged me profusely. It was like a valve within him was released and the tears came pouring. He knew at the moment everything was going to be okay.

“This will have made all the difference now. It doesn’t matter what I do next in my life, everything else is a bonus after this. They won’t be able to hurt me now. They won’t be able to put me in an information box. With what I’ve gone through, I will not be irrelevant, it will not be in vain.”

The common theme among the people coming to us is that they have a “justice complex.” Their love of their country and of the truth is so strong, they are willing to overcome fear of retaliation against their reputation, against their family, and the fear of losing their careers.

Friends, a movement of heroes is coming forward, and we haven’t seen anything like this since the time of the Boston Tea party.

People have had enough of the media’s misrepresentations, omissions, and lies. Oligarchs want to put information into a box and it is motivating the citizen journalist to take action. To be brave. To do something.

Beyond that - with the resources available today, although spiked by our investigative branches and our big tech companies, America now has the power to educate the world and preach the concept of personal responsibility and individual liberty.

Our founding fathers built a system of limited government because they knew that unbridled, the power of people was magnificent.

It wasn’t social programs and welfare that created great things, it was freedom and liberty and an open market where people could benefit from the fruits of their labor and the investment of their time, life’s most precious asset.

We should be helping the world by helping release them from the grasp of the push for global government before they give up the or most basic freedoms for more security.

The “security” is a myth, it is a method of control, and no the planet isn’t dying. Bundle up because it’s going to get cold for the next 10 years as the sun goes through it’s natural solar cycle, and all Americans need to come together to stop the forces that wish to destroy us. We the people are the only thing in their way.

There are no hyphenated-Americans, (i.e. African Asian Gay Tranny Indian) we are all Americans or we are progressives. Progressives need to get their passports and visit a socialist/communist country before they can vote again. The infighting is self destructive.

Either we are Americans, or we’re just getting in the way of Making America Great Again. I’m not saying it was perfect, what I can tell you is that it’s been a lot worse since the Progressives took over our Government 60-100 years ago.

Let’s restore our country to its values and Americans all bleed red white and blue. I don’t care what color you are, what you do for work or who you choose to sleep with. If you love America, I love you.

We either stop this shit now, and help Awaken our Brother and Sisters, take our county back from the Progressives in Government, Media and Hollywood, or we’ll wind up sitting in a cube in a mega city under full time surveillance wondering what the hell just happened.
