It’s expected to pass some 1.98 million kilometers away from Earth – that’s roughly five times the distance between our planet and the Moon – on January 18.

An Apollo-class asteroid with a wider orbit than Earth, it was discovered by Australian astronomer Robert McNaught in 1994. It makes a full circle around the Sun in one year and seven months.

The space traveler can be observed with the most basic of telescopes every 47 years, but the next time it’s going to come that close to Earth will be in 2105.

For those thinking of stargazing, it’ll be travelling at a whopping 19.56 kilometers per second (70,515 kph) and will look like a shooting star moving across the night sky.

Of all the questions asked, words spoken, and ink spilled on the so-called “Capitol Siege” of January 6, 2021, none hold the key to the entire event quite like what Sen. Amy Klobuchar asked of Christopher Wray.

The Democrat from Minnesota asked the Trump-appointed FBI Director: Did the federal government infiltrate any of the so-called “militia” organizations claimed to be responsible for planning and executing the Capitol Siege?

Christopher Wray is able to uncomfortably weasel his way out of answering the question directly, partially because Klobuchar does him the courtesy of not asking him the question directly. Klobuchar instead asks the FBI director if he wishes he had infiltrated the militia organizations allegedly involved in 1/6 — assuming from the outset that there was in fact no infiltration, thereby providing the FBI director an easy way to avoid addressing the question one way or another.

Revolver News is willing to address the matter directly in the following three questions:

In the year leading up to 1/6 and during 1/6 itself, to what extent were the three primary militia groups (the Oath Keepers, the Proud Boys, and the Three Percenters) that the FBI, DOJ, Pentagon and network news have labeled most responsible for planning and executing a Capitol attack on 1/6 infiltrated by agencies of the federal government, or informants of said agencies?

Exactly how many federal undercover agents or confidential informants were present at the Capitol or in the Capitol during the infamous “siege” and what roles did they play (merely passive informants or active instigators)?

Finally, of all of the unindicted co-conspirators referenced in the charging documents of those indicted for crimes on 1/6, how many worked as a confidential informant or as an undercover operative for the federal government (FBI, Army Counterintelligence, etc.)?

From now on, all discussion of 1/6 must give way to a laser-like focus on the questions above, with an unwavering persistence at obtaining the answers.

If the narrative about 1/6 does not conform to the questions above, the American people will never learn the most important truth about what 1/6 is, and what kind of country they’re really living in.

If it turns out the federal government did in fact have undercover agents or confidential informants embedded within the so-called militia groups indicted for conspiring to obstruct the Senate certification on 1/6, the implications would be nothing short of seismic. Especially if such agents or informants enjoyed extremely senior-level positions within such groups.

One of the key consensus points among the FBI-DOJ and the regime media is the idea that, while 1/6 is primarily the fault of Trump-supporting QAnon-infused “domestic terrorists,” it is secondarily the fault of so-called “intelligence failures.”

Klobuchar’s own question at the March 2, 2021 FBI hearing (above) reinforces this “intelligence failure” narrative, but she is not alone. A five-month “bipartisan” Senate investigation recently arrived at the very same “intelligence failure” narrative to explain the breach of the Capitol and associated events on 1/6:

Chuck Schumer’s mouth either keeps writing checks his caucus can’t deliver, or … well, that appears to be the only option. Schumer has insisted that he will call a vote on SB1, the Democrats’ ‘reform’ bill that would federalize elections in the US. The point would be to force a vote to end the legislative filibuster or carve out an exception so wide that its destruction would be inevitable.

Joe Manchin already tossed cold water on Schumer’s plan yesterday, with the folksy explanation that such carve-outs usually force you to “eat the whole turkey.” Manchin didn’t explicitly declare his opposition to a nuclear option to change the filibuster rule, but apparently Kyrsten Sinema has — repeatedly and recently, according to Axios:

“Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.), also a key holdout to major filibuster reform, reiterated during the Democratic lunch she will not support any effort to get rid of the 60-vote threshold, according to two sources familiar with the call.”

Not mentioned anywhere yet is where the other 48 Senate Democrats are on the nuclear option. Some of the leadership has definitely endorsed the idea, including Dick Durbin, who was a big fan of the legislative filibuster during the Trump administration. Others, though, have been pretty quiet about it, including Sinema’s Arizona colleague Mark Kelly, who has to face purple-to-red-state voters in November. The same can be said for Catherine Cortez Masto, Maggie Hassan, and perhaps one or two other incumbent Democrats like Jon Tester in deep-red Montana.

There may be as many as six votes against a nuclear option, not just two. Forcing a vote on it, especially when it’s doomed to defeat, would put those vulnerable caucus members in the worst of all positions. They would have to cast a vote that would paint targets on their backs, either by angry constituents or by angry progressive activists based mainly in Democrats’ coastal-enclave power bases. Manchin won’t care and neither will Sinema, apparently. The rest of Schumer’s endangered incumbents won’t appreciate it at all, and are likely egging Manchin and Sinema on in their entrenched opposition in hopes that Schumer will back down. And if he forces a vote anyway and comes up short of 48 votes, Schumer will end up looking even more incompetent than he looks now.

A federal judge soundly rejected the FDA’s request to produce Pfizer vaccine documents at a rate of 500 pages per month (which would have taken more than 75 years), and instead ordered the FDA to produce all of the data at a clip of 55,000 pages per month (roughly 6 - 8 months)!

I fact checked the fact checkers and couldn’t believe what I found. Despite the corporate press, Big Pharma, and the federal government telling us otherwise, it is absolutely true that there is no FDA approved COVID-19 vaccine available in the United States today. And there are no plans to make one available any time soon.

I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s 100% true. And this reality hints at an incredible scandal within both Big Pharma and the U.S. Public Health bureaucracy.

On August 23, the FDA granted full approval for a COVID-19 vaccine to Pfizer-BioNtech for a specific product sold under the brand name Comirnaty. The landmark moment — the “full approval” endorsement from the FDA — was heralded by the Biden Administration and countless states, and quickly leveraged to coerce millions into taking the shots. This product, Comirnaty, was fully authorized for the “prevention of COVID-19 disease in individuals 16 years of age and older.”

Yet Comirnaty itself has never made its way into the United States. The fully-approved version is nowhere to be found within our borders.

A separate product, which remains under emergency use authorization (EUA), is the only “Pfizer shot” available in the United States.

Early on, Pfizer and its government allies seemed to have a reasonable explanation for this issue. They claimed that Comirnaty was not yet available because the EUA shots were still lining the shelves, and claimed that the FDA-approved version would be available to all soon.

Now, it’s been over 4 months since full approval, and Comirnaty is still not being distributed.

The NY Times had a piece out yesterday, Will ‘Forever Boosting’ Beat the Coronavirus?, that waffles back and forth as to whether after “THE THIRD BOOSTER,” it is time to stop or change vaccines.  Below are some of the notable statements of that article:

All the advisers acknowledged that they were obligated to make difficult choices, based on sparse research, in the middle of a public health emergency. But some said they felt compelled to vote for the shots because of the way the federal agencies framed the questions that they were asked to consider.

Other committee experts said that they wanted to avoid confusing the public further by dissenting, or that they voted according to their views of the evidence and were simply overruled.

‘These are not evidence-based recommendations,’ said Dr. Sarah S. Long, a pediatric infectious disease expert at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, and a member of the C.D.C.’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.

But the immunity boost is transient; already preliminary studies are showing a decline in antibody levels just weeks after a third dose. And even at peak antibody levels, the boost does not uniformly prevent infection with Omicron, which is less vulnerable to the body’s immune defenses.

‘It doesn’t make sense to keep boosting against a strain that’s already gone,’ said Ali Ellebedy, an immunologist at Washington University in St. Louis.

This is starting to sound to my ear like the approved narrative is crumbling, a few of the culpable who succumbed to the mass formation are coming to realize that they are going to have to live with awareness of some seriously bad decisions that they have made, and that the underlying logic of the Fauci/Biden COVID-19 public policies has some serious flaws.

The government is now officially wandering, lost in the wilderness of their own private mass formation hell. Except it is not only their hell, but also ours. Perhaps a bit less propaganda and censorship, and a bit more listening to other opinions might finally be in order?

Challengers of the OSHA standard argued on Friday that the agency has no right to force a medical decision on workers, but several justices pushed back on this idea using false narratives about COVID-19 to justify the federal government’s vaccine mandate.

Justice Elena Kagan suggested that getting the vaccine reduces the spread of COVID-19, a claim that’s contested by the rapidly rising number of breakthrough cases worldwide. Kagan’s opinion is that: “There’s nothing else that will perform that function better than incentivizing people strongly to vaccinate themselves. So, you know, whatever necessary means, whatever grave means, why isn’t this necessary and grave?”

Justice Stephen Breyer echoed Kagan’s sentiment that the COVID-19 vaccine would prevent the spread of the virus in the workplace. He said that the challengers’ argument that hundreds of thousands of people would quit the workforce over forced vaccination, hurting the already struggling U.S economy, is moot because “more may quit when they discover they have to work together with unvaccinated others because that means they may get the disease.”

“And more will quit because they’ll maybe die, or maybe they will be in the hospital, or maybe they’ll be sick and have to stay home for two weeks,” Breyer said.

Breyer also repeatedly used rising COVID-19 case numbers, due to the number of breakthrough cases after the omicron variant surfaced, to justify keeping OSHA’s mandate around. In fact, Breyer claimed there were “750 million new cases yesterday,” despite the U.S. population being less than half that number.

Justice Sonia Sotomayor stated that “those numbers show that omicron is as deadly and causes as much serious disease in the unvaccinated as delta did,” despite studies showing that the newest variant is impossible to distinguish from the common cold.

She, along with Breyer, also bizarrely claimed that “hospitals are almost all full capacity,” which is not true, and lied that more than 100,000 children are hospitalized with COVID and on ventilators.

Meet DARPA's 'Glide Breaker': A Hypersonic Missile Killer?(Nationalinterest.org)

DARPA develops advanced interceptor capable of engaging hypersonic threats - DARPA calls it "counter-hypersonics."

The rest of us would call it a way or a prayer to stop nuclear warheads coming down on our heads at 20 times the speed of sound.

DARPA, the Pentagon's pet research agency, wants an interceptor that can stop weapons that are hypersonic (travel faster than Mach 5). The agency has begun soliciting proposals for Glide Breaker , its project to stop boost-glide vehicles that are lofted high into the atmosphere atop a ballistic missile, and then glide down to Earth. The current exemplar is Russia's Avangard, touted by President Vladimir Putin as unstoppable by anti-missile defenses. The Avangard is lofted by a giant RS-28 Sarmat ICBM, and then glides down to its target at Mach 20. But China and the U.S. are also developing boost-glide vehicles.

DARPA seeks to "develop and demonstrate a technology that is critical for enabling an advanced interceptor capable of engaging maneuvering hypersonic threats in the upper atmosphere." And it wants this technology in a hurry: Glide Breaker should be tested in 2020. Meanwhile, the Missile Defense Agency the Pentagon organization charged with stopping ballistic missiles also has its program to develop defenses against hypersonic weapons.

There's a reason for the rush. Hypersonic weapons may be able to penetrate U.S. missile defenses or streak past the defenses of U.S. aircraft carriers. Even more worrisome, they might be armed with conventional warheads to destroy targets notably ICBMs in hardened silos once thought invulnerable to anything but nuclear weapons.

DARPA's solicitation is light on unclassified details, though it says it wants "innovative solutions" to stop boost-glide vehicles. That's putting it mildly. If shooting down ballistic missiles is hard, then boost-glide vehicles, also known as hypersonic glide vehicles (HGVs), is even harder.

For starters, the gliders don't traverse outer space like an ICBM, but instead soar through the thin upper atmosphere, where they can achieve extremely high speeds while flying too low to be easily detected by early warning radars designed to track ballistic missiles arcing through outer space. For another, while an ICBM warhead follows a predictable (and Mach 23) path as it descends through the atmosphere, a boost-glide vehicle like a hobby glider can maneuver, which make it much harder to an interceptor to hit.

Intercepting a ballistic missile with an anti-missile has been likened to "hitting a bullet with a bullet." Imagine if the bullet were taking evasive action.

Or put another way, counter-hypersonics encounters all the difficulties of ballistic missile defense against ICBMs, and then some. "The most obvious challenge is the maneuverability of HGVs, which makes it very difficult to maintain track on the vehicle and plan an intercept course using our current capabilities," George Nacouzi, an engineer at the RAND Corp. think tank, told the National Interest . "Flight altitude is also challenging for our current systems. The HGV may fly too high for many endo-atmospheric interceptors and too low to be detected and tracked early by long range radars."

Nacouzi believes there are ways to shoot down HGVs, "but they would involve using a nearly ubiquitous surveillance and tracking system accompanied by strategically positioned very high performance interceptors or, possibly in the future, directed energy weapons." The U.S. is developing these solutions for intercepting ballistic missiles, but they all have drawbacks: directed energy weapons such as lasers can be affected by weather, while having armed drones or aircraft constantly hovering over North Korean missile sites could trigger a war.

James Acton, an arms control expert at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, argues that despite their speed, hypersonic weapons can be destroyed by some ballistic missile defense systems such as the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system. The problem is that THAAD is a point-defense weapon designed to protect a small area: covering the entire United States with THAAD-like defenses would be prohibitively expensive.

So, given current technology, a leak-proof shield that can reliably stop a massed salvo of hypersonic glide vehicles seems doomed to failure.

But maybe the value of counter-hypersonics isn't shooting down these lethal gliders?

DARPA may have captured the real value of counter-hypersonic defenses in a notice for a July 2018 Proposer's Day , where industry had a chance to learn about the project. The notice stated that "a key figure of merit is deterrence: the ability to create large uncertainty for the adversary’s projected probability of mission success and effective raid size."

Note the significance of that phrasing: anti-hypersonic defense is successful not by necessarily destroying every incoming boost-glide vehicle, but by making a potential adversary uncertain of which hypersonic vehicles will get through. It's the equivalent of body armor that will stop only 50 percent of bullets fired at it – but the attacker can't be sure of whether a particular bullet aimed at a vital spot will hit its target.

That's been the whole basis of nuclear deterrence since the early days of the Cold War. Even if a first strike could destroy much of the enemy's nuclear missiles and bombers, an attacker couldn't be sure that enough nukes would be left over to mount a devastating retaliation.

However, the Achilles heel of ballistic missile defense has been that it's cheaper for an attacker to build an overwhelming mass of missiles and warheads than it is for the defender to build interceptors to stop them. It remains to be seen whether the economics of hypersonic missile defense will be the same.

Sanders Proposal Brings Medicare Closer To The Brink Of Collapse

President Joe Biden wants to lower Medicare's eligibility age from 65 to 60. Now Sen. Bernie Sanders is intent on doing him one better. The Vermont socialist, the country's leading promoter of single-payer health care, is pushing Democrats to open up Medicare to Americans as young as 55.

"There are many millions of seniors who would be very, very grateful if we did that right now," Sanders recently said. That doesn't make it a good idea. Lowering Medicare's eligibility age is unnecessary, given that older adults are more likely to have insurance than any other age group. It would also put more financial stress on the entitlement, which is dangerously close to insolvency.

In 2020, the program's trustees projected that Medicare Part A, which covers hospital care, would run out of cash in 2026. Covid-19 has only accelerated this march to insolvency. (Who needs a SC with that type of manpower?)

-The inspector general’s jurisdiction to conduct civil and criminal investigations includes “actions taken by former employees after they have left government service.” Then Huber can act on any of those matters.

-This is HUGE A Grand Jury can be empaneled anywhere, in any deep red state, away from D.C. (This is very important and why Trump needed to appoint as many Judges as possible)

-Huber and Horowitz can accomplish everything a SC can do.

-If Sessions feels that charges should have been made that weren't, he can still appoint a SC to make that happen.

-Huber is a lawyer from deep red Utah, not the D.C. swamp.

-“If a special counsel were appointed, there would be a great deal of delay,” Turley stated, versus the team of Huber and Horowitz, who are already five months into this investigation. (It's too late to even appoint a SC. Charges can be filed before midterms.)

-From /u/ClardicFug - Huber and Horowitz were both appointed to their positions by the Obama administration. This helps optics a lot. Pretty much decimates the "Trumped rigged the investigation" argument that's sure to be made.
