Australia has deployed hundreds of soldiers to Sydney to help enforce a Covid lockdown.

A Delta outbreak which began in June has produced nearly 3,000 infections and led to nine deaths.

Australian Defence Force soldiers will undergo training on the weekend before beginning unarmed patrols on Monday.

But many have questioned whether the military intervention is necessary, calling it heavy-handed.

The lockdown - in place until at least 28 August - bars people from leaving their home except for essential exercise, shopping, caregiving and other reasons.

Despite five weeks of lockdown, infections in the nation's largest city continue to spread. Officials recorded 170 new cases on Friday.

Soldiers will join police in virus hotspots to ensure people are following the rules, which include a 10km (6.2 miles) travel limit.

State Police Minister David Elliott said it would help because a small minority of Sydneysiders thought "the rules didn't apply to them".

New Mexico House Democrat Resigns Amid Criminal Probe Into Racketeering, Money-Laundering

 

New Mexico House Majority Leader Sheryl Williams Stapleton, a Democrat, resigned Friday amid a criminal probe involving allegations that include money laundering and racketeering, according to reports.

 

Stapleton announced her resignation in a July 30 letter, obtained by The Paper, to the Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver, in which she “unequivocally” denied the allegations.

 

“This is a decision that weighs heavily on me, and which I have made after a tremendous amount of consideration of the best interest of the People,” she wrote, adding that she “must devote a significant amount of time and energy to fully defend against these allegations.”

 

While no charges have been filed against Stapleton, authorities are investigating her for possible racketeering, money laundering, kickbacks, and violations of a law governing the conduct of state lawmakers, according to the Santa Fe New Mexican.

 

Stapleton’s attorney, Ahmad Assed, told the Albuquerque Journal on Wednesday that it’s too early to comment on the investigation.

 

“We have to do our due diligence and our own investigation,” Assed said. “Rep. Stapleton will have a comment when it is appropriate. That could be soon or later in the process.”

 

Authorities are probing Stapleton’s possibly illegal connections to a company that received more than $5 million in contracts to do business with Albuquerque Public Schools, and whether she received financial kickbacks.

 

As part of that investigation, the Attorney General’s Office on Wednesday executed search warrants at Stapleton’s home and businesses, and at Albuquerque Public Schools, where Stapleton oversees career technical education, according to documents featured in The Paper’s report.

 

“While we cannot comment on the specifics of an ongoing investigation, I can assure New Mexicans that because this matter involves schools and public funds, we will be swift and diligent in concluding this investigation,” Attorney General Hector Balderas said in a statement about the investigation.

Over the past couple of months I've been following Q post deltas. I noticed that we could create a 4 x 366 matrix that showed when Q posts and when Q didn't post. Essentially 4 columns for the years Q has posted - 2017-2020 - plus 366 rows for each date within each year, because of the need to account for 29th Feb 2020.

 

The thinking behind mapping this data is to see if the post delta pattern might tell us anything.

 

I've attached a PDF of the q post map that has a page for each calendar month.

 

I'm just beginning to go through the map, my plan is to see if any particular dates are thrown up and then have a look at the actual posts on those dates, to see if they throw up.

 

First point to note is not all date ranges are the same as 28 Oct - 31 Dec is the only time that there can be 4 deltas on a single date.

 

When you look at this range there are only date that have 4 post deltas: 2 Nov and 13 Nov ie Q posts on those dates in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

 

I'm going to have a look at those dates and the posts to see if there are any underlying patterns/data. It would be useful if some other autist-anons could also see if they can derive anything from this analysis.

The biggest threat in this regard is the multistate "pact" dems were working on, to essentially award all electors for their states to the national popular vote winner, even if their states voted for the other candidate. I doubt the founders thought election fraud would become so brazen. Some states even do proportional awarding, which I personally think is a different but equivalent end run around the electoral college. Any fix would require a constitutional amendment, and that's not likely any time soon. The best solution is gasp to run free and fair elections, devoid of tampering, fake ballots, dead voters, illegal voters, etc.

For us, as adults, it’s easy to get frustrated these days. Whether you are a big-picture person, looking at the trends in surveillance technology and “The Great Reset” hubris, or an ordinary person frustrated by spiking prices and constant supply headaches. Many of us have had to tap into our inner resources to stand resilient in the face of these challenges.

 

How can we teach kids to do the same? How do we teach our children the vital skill of resilience?

Helping your children find their tribe

 

Many of us found our friendships and family relationships changed over the past year. I know my children have dealt with the same thing. With remote schooling, they could not see friends in person anymore. My children found, after talking online, many of their friends held widely different views on what has been happening. For example, my children have had former friends tell them it’s the fault of “people like us” (the vaccine-hesitant) that old people are all dying.

 

It’s worth the effort to help your kids find at least one or two kids with similar interests and values. My daughter has a Canadian pen pal who is very like-minded. They don’t correspond super regularly, but it’s enough for my daughter to know she’s not alone. My boys know to practice OPSEC in general, but we know a couple of families in town around whom we can speak freely.

If you don’t lose it every time the power goes out or the toilet clogs, they probably won’t either. We had so many plumbing problems when I first got on septic. I was constantly plunging. There were plenty of tears and frustration at first, but as I got better at managing clogs, it just became more of a regular chore. These days, the kids only tell me about a clog if it’s a spectacularly bad one. Most of the time, they get the plunger and deal with it themselves. No drama.

 

The same mentality applies in terms of eating habits. If all of your meals are made “just right” at very set times, your kids will see you being picky about food and will be less likely to roll with changes. I’ve written before about spiking commodity prices and how most of us will have to make adjustments in terms of grocery shopping. Again, if you can handle these changes gracefully and be mentally resilient, your kids probably will too.

When Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) of Washington, D.C., announced this week she was enacting a face mask mandate in the nation's capital, questions immediately arose over why the mandate would not take effect until days later.

The DJ who allegedly worked the celebration posted a photo on Instagram showing the maskless crowd. "When your asked to Dj for the Mayor!!! Happy Birthday @mayor_bowser," the DJ captioned the now-deleted photo.

 

Another photo showed Bowser and Deputy Mayor John Falcicchio posing with Chappelle.

 

Bowser's decision not to wear a face mask directly put the health of others at risk, at least according to her own COVID-19 face mask guidance. "Choosing not to wear a mask puts your own health as well as the health of others at risk," the DC face mask guidance states.

 

The guidance also states, "A mask is not a substitute for physical distancing." As the photos show, Bowser did not follow that directive, either.

I used to share post cards about vaccine dangers. I'd leave them in public restrooms, restaurant tables, etc. I've been thinking about various ways to continue similar efforts since social media is censored so much.

 

I didn't think about how much even the spiritual atmosphere changes when truth is shared. I left a bunch of the notes and postcards at one particular gas station and in the "lockdown"/mask mandate in my liberal city I found this particular place in a neighboring county remained more "free". It occurred to me that part of that was the power of truth being shared.

Another Church Farm School official faces sex abuse charges

 

WEST WHITELAND — Does the Church Farm School have “institutional weaknesses” that fail to provide adequate protection for its students against male sexual predators?

 

Does it have such lax oversight of the relationships among and contact between adult teachers and staff and young students that sexual grooming and eventual abuse is made easier to accomplish? And what has it done recently, if anything, to guard against such behavior in the future?

 

Those questions had been posed earlier this year in a lawsuit against the century-old school, playing out currently in federal court, concerning the sexual abuse suffered by a former student there by a teacher who lived on the campus in Exton more than a decade ago.

 

But they arose again this week with the announcement by the Chester County District Attorney’s Office that a onetime dorm parent at the school was facing charges of molesting a teenager there over a period of several years under the nose of school officials.

 

District Attorney Deb Ryan said local police had filed charges against Daniel Rowley, 70, of Ft. Meyers, Fla., for the alleged sexual abuse of a student between 2003 and 2007 when he was a houseparent and coach at Church Farm.

 

The abuse, authorities said in a complaint, took place on the campus at the Pew Cottage, where the alleged victim and the teacher both lived. The youth regularly would visit the teacher in his apartment, and the abuse occurred there or in the cottage’s basement boiler room.

 

Rowley is said to have acknowledged his abuse of the student, who is now an adult, in an interview with police. He has been was charged with 10 counts each of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and statutory sexual assault, and an additional 20 counts of indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old, and related offenses. He is being held in Florida awaiting extradition back to Chester County.

 

“The sexual abuse of students and children is pervasive and needs to stop now,” said Ryan in a press release announcing the arrest. “My office will root out any adult, wherever they live, who abuses or has abused children. It took many years for this victim to have the courage to reveal what had happened to him, and then more years to have the fortitude to speak with law enforcement. His bravery should be an example for other children and adults to come forward and seek help.”

 

West Whiteland Police Chief Lee Benson said, “Thank you to Florida Department of Law Enforcement for their assistance in apprehending the defendant. Inter-agency collaboration such as this shows child predators that no one is out of our reach.”

 

His arrest comes just over one year after West Whiteland police filed similar charges against the former teacher for abuse of an 8th grader at the school at a cottage apartment there over a period of months between 2008 and 2010.

There was no application or argument in open court to suppress the documents and the only reason given by Justice Jagot for suppressing the documents is “given they contain apparently scandalous and scurrilous material about third parties” which raises the question who said that to Justice Jagot, on what basis and when?

 

I know this for a fact because Justice Jagot says in her judgment that she has removed my affidavit and written submissions, that I filed in the matter for the hearing on the 9th of July, from the courts online file . Given we are in a pandemic, and Sydney is in lockdown, removal from the online file has the same effect as removing the documents from the court file permanently at least until the pandemic is over.

 

What makes it so scandalous is court case has dealt with suppressed evidence and applications to remove and redact documents in court file where there has been extensive argument to justify it. But when it came to my affidavit and written submissions there was no argument and/or application to have the affidavit and written submissions removed.

 

What does “apparently” mean in her reason where she says, “given they contain apparently scandalous and scurrilous material about third parties”? “Apparently” means she was told by someone else. Who was it? Justice Jagot’s abuse of the law is obvious because even it was true and my documents did contain “scandalous and scurrilous material about third parties” those parts could have been redacted, like numerous other documents in this matter have been when challenged, and put back in the court’s online file. And who is this “third party” and what did I say about them?

 

The Federal Court of Australia has set up pages on their website for public interest court cases where it publishes all the court documents and evidence etc online so the public can access it at anytime which helps build the publics confidence in an open and transparent judiciary.

 

At the hearing on the 9th of July Justice Jagot gave the other parties the opportunity to object to anything in my affidavit and written submissions and they didn’t so Jagot then said she would be publishing my affidavit and written submissions on the court’s online page for the matter. But Jagot has failed to do that even though she has published the written submissions by Porter, the ABC and the barrister for the other intervenors who are News Corp and Nine Entertainment’s newspapers. So what happened after the 9th of July hearing to make Justice Jagot change her mind? And given the other parties didn’t object to my affidavit and written submissions being accepted by the court and being published online who did?

 

Jagot was very sneaky by attacking my written submissions and evidence in her judgment and then failing to publish my written submissions and evidence on the court’s online page because they have information that Jagot wants to hide from the public and so the public can’t verify if Jagot is correct or lying in her judgment. If Jagot had confidence in the lies she said about me in her judgment she would not have had to suppress my affidavit and written submissions to conceal the truth.
