Qresearch is a 24/7 beehive of activity where anons post their diggs, memes and prayers.

For this to happen requires ''bakers''–which is why they have been called "the core of this board."

Bakers perform several key functions:

* Set the tone for each bread via their choice of bread title and /comms/ with posters.

* Post notables for each bread.

* Bake breads (transition the board from one thread to the next).

* Knead the dough (keeping the resource pages clean, tidy, and up-to-date).

When all goes well, baking is a fun & exciting opportunity to serve. When things get wonky and shills attack–bakers carry on anyway.

For early arrivals…..

In a recent seminar, someone asked "Why do you bake?" A number of bakers said why. Maybe some of them will share their stories again in this class. Don't remember if i replied but here is my story in brief.

I came to /qresearch/ to digg. Had no idea how to work the chans. Despite all my beginner mistakes, managed to get involved in diggs on the 2018 caravans, the Alabama Senate Race, and more from there, the global disinformation network. Collected 2000 anti-Q articles thru Jane 2020, after which the numbers became too great for one person to do the task.

Started baking because my dig partner for the Alabama Senate Race dig was Night Watch Baker (NWB). We would meet in the gy bread he baked and exchange ideas. Didn't realize he was a baker at first or know much about baking. But as I watched him bake - with such care and consideration - I came to admire the work of the bakers. But never thought I could do it.

But he had to leave suddenly - and there was an empty gy shift. Remember seeing five breads one night, as anons tried to fill his shoes. Began to do notes but still did not bake. Gradually picked it up from some notes and from practice baking at /comms/ - the site that BO Rusty. One of the bakers checked my bakes and said I should go live, but I was too scared.

That baker pushed me out into the stream one night. Q baked the second night of my gy shift. I had many adventures and misadventures after that. To my surprise, began to enjoy baking - what a surprise.

Started in March 2019 and have baked most days ever since. It's a privilege to bake. It's a privilege to work with other bakers. They are a good crew - decent, steady and always there in a pinch. Crew is brave as well - put up with a lot of fur flying in all directions. Thanks to all.

One of the hard things about baking: our mistakes are there for all to see. Hope i'm not overstepping to say that bakers can be stubborn, unreceptive, and sometimes hasty in our decisions at time, in part because the job requires quick decisions in a high pressure environment. But we are here to serve. We will will continue to try to serve, despite everything.

thought i'd made changes to notables and meant i was comp'd

but never asked about it

instead just blasted spam all of qr and other threads

and started ripping things up again

insulting anons and bakers, creating drama to be the hero

sorry but this is one of those situations where it really is pretty much one person

after we have problems with WR grabbing the bred

• In July, the kitchen seemed to be running pretty smoothly.

• The earlier problems with WR 'grabbing the bred' were solved by a new 'bin' system bakers had developed

where bakers would identify themselves when asking for handoff

Advantages:

1. bakers could handoff to bakers they knew and trusted

2. anons could see who was baking (good for transparency)

3. there was better coverage for the board than in the past due to better comms

Disadvantages:

1. bakers who rarely baked had no (recent) bin or "you's"

2. system depended upon the willingness of bakers to present a bin and show their 'track record'

3. 'guest' bakers in pastebin had no track record to show (bc not recorded) - only in qanonbin

Another problem cited:

brand new bakers were not "allowed" to bake

But this was not true - they could bake after /comms/ practice or with oversight from a baker

what i'm about to post next, some may not agree

but again, my 2cents about the situation:

"What happened next"

• infrequent bakers protested (wanted complete anonymity and freedom to bake wo/credentials)

• when daily bakers explained the situation, most 'visiting' bakers were then ok (if not totally happy) about bin idea

• brand new baker who wanted busy shift, no practice (said "baking looks easy") - overruled by experienced bakers

• then shills piped up: "But anyone can bake!" "Bakers union!" "Bakers just want control!"

ENTER OP BAKER.

• competant w/baking & notables; able to " bake long shifts with a single bound"

• but arrogant, driven, highly manipulative; and used a strange name & avator: OSS.

• fixated on 'saving' /qresearch/ from the current bakers and from the /comms/ board - villified both w/increasing fervor

• supported by allies: shills, bots, BO, naive bakers, animefags, etc.

• claimed that Q endorsed his takeover.

WHAT HE DOES: Uses theBIG LIE Technique to mow down opponents and intimate bystanders:

1. Broadcasts the LIE: " /comms/ bakers are comp'd shills trying to take over the board"

2. Berzerker attack from all directions: "muh graphics",RED TEXT "driving" technique, personal attacks - to create TOTAL CHAOS

3. Uses innocent remarks or mistakes to 'prove' enemy bakers are comp'd (not just fallible)

RINSE AND REPEAT.

RESULT:

First, confusion among anons ('are bakers really comp'd?') and counterattacks by bakers (tried to counter OSS attacks/arguments)

Second, OSS consolidation of gains (BO approval, pinned thread, anti-baker thread, "Q posted in muh breads", etc)

Third, anons realize OSS agenda after he took out GMT graphics (but he already had the high ground)

NOW: anons digging & bakers trying to figure a new strategy. But incessant battering of the board and personal attacks tend to induce a kind of paralysis that is hard to fight ("learned helplessness" problem).

This is not a great situation.

ever since replatforming, BO has been EXTREMELY slow to delete breads. Sometimes they NEVER get deleted. Q has posted in breads that were 'hanging' around from the past. I sometimes have to request several times.

It's the one thing (along with bred corrections) we ask of BO/BVs. And they do a pisspoor job at it. Since BVing here on /comms/, i'm less tolerant because i see how easy it is to to do.

Getting ANONS as BV's who will be around anyway - easy. But FJ doesn't hang out with anons, has other people we don't know. HotFudge - prob animebaker, kek.
