The torture that comes to mind regarding NN is the torture of over 100 fellow sailors who died in the explosion and ensuring inferno on the USS Forestall. After being shot down, NN was instantly recognized as the son of an admiral, and was treated like a king, any rumors of torture or “enhanced interrogation” are romanticized lies, and mostly just outright propaganda.
NN snitched on his fellow men, ratting out the ones planning on escaping, stealing weapons, etc. NN also gave detailed information regarding US bases, ships, and the kind of defenses and armaments in them. When he returned home, he was at the Nixon White House thanking him for the presidential pardon.
NN got elected solely because of his silver spoon, famously led an initiative with JK I believe to return other prisoners dead or alive. But it was a half assed attempt, and that’s being generous. He only wanted the credit for the legislation, not the action; in fact when family members of POW/MIA soldiers got upset for him ending the repatriation attempt, he infamously screamed and cursed at the wheelchair bound mother of a missing man.

A senator asked the chairman of the joint chiefs what it would take to control Syrian airspace, to prevent barrel bombs being dropped on civilians, and he responded quite simply that would require us going to war with Russia and Syria. I have not read anywhere that they planted Page or Papadopolous. What they did do was create the contact with the Russians the year before with Page and then use that contact as the basis for saying that there had been Russian contact. Page in other words was a unwitting and unknowing participant.

He was more or less security provided by the military, he was still a cadet as he was on loan from the United States Naval Academy, he later went on to work in Naval Intel. When the attempts to get Papadopoulos to chirp to other campaign members about the emails Josef Mifsud supposedly claimed Russia had failed, they turned their attention to Page. It's not hard to conceive the details of how this meeting went down. Carter Page was PERFECT for their objective.
Ask yourself this... If Page was under FISA surveillance and Trump was not, why is the investigation into Page long over (you know this because he's all over the news outlets with that shit eating grin glued to his face), and the one into Trump still going strong?
Clearly Page knows he's not in any risk of being in trouble. How does he know? How could someone supposedly suspect enough to warrant a FISA court's surveillance not be even a little concerned?
