Qresearch is a 24/7 beehive of activity where anons post their diggs, memes and prayers.

For this to happen requires ''bakers''โ€“which is why they have been called "the core of this board."

Bakers perform several key functions:

* Set the tone for each bread via their choice of bread title and /comms/ with posters.

* Post notables for each bread.

* Bake breads (transition the board from one thread to the next).

* Knead the dough (keeping the resource pages clean, tidy, and up-to-date).

When all goes well, baking is a fun & exciting opportunity to serve. When things get wonky and shills attackโ€“bakers carry on anyway.

We are at a CRITICAL TIME right now

Tensions are high.

Shill activity on the board is throught the roof.

And there are currently many problems with dup bakes, stolen breads and messed-up doughs.

 

Shills are constantly SPAMMING out the message in /qr/ that it is the traditional bakers who are trying to screw over /qr/.

 

This is absolutely false.

The problems there have been going on since early September - although they have gotten worse after most traditional bakers stood down from baking after multiple efforts to recover the dough, find 'lost' notables and generally clean things up did not work (would get reversed within a few breds).

 

If any anons have questions, just ask. Bakers are here to answer them. Also share your general concerns. It's time all patriot anons came together to figure out a solution to these problems.

History

Last week anons and bakers discussed what's happened to put the board in crisis.

As usual, this is my 2cents.

 

In a nutshell:

  • Rogue baker OSS has been attacking bakers since late last winter.

  • Apologized in May, left, then came back in July.

  • Started a cycle of creating various problems so he could provide the solution: "hero of the board" gig

  • Main idea: /comms/ board is comp'd and traditional bakers are too.

  • Used constant spamming & overly-detailed "muh graphics" to sell ideas that had little merit on their own.

  • Secretly enlisted the help of FJ to pin baking thread in /qr/

  • Gained momentum due to increasing help from shills, bots and possibly /qr/ mgmt (who tried to take out bakers last year)

  • Whenever the board starts to 'normalize,' OSS steals bakes, bakes dups, or does both using multiple IPs

  • Then SPAMS "comms bakers did it."

 

Wrap up smear fully operational.

a. FIX THE BREAD

b. TIDY UP THE SHIP

 

What exactly did Q mean? again, my 2cents:

 

a. Fix the bread - no more things going in & out of the dough willy-nilly (confusing, destabilizing, no continuity)

  • This is mainly the job of bakers

  • But shills are making it hard for bakers to bake (they encourage new bakers but then create conditions that make it impossible - then blame others. Finally, OSS comes in a 'rescues' the board with competent bakingโ€ฆ..rinse and repeat)

 

b. Tidy up the ship - cleanup by BO/BVs of bad bread numbers/titles, elimination of dup bakes and other board-level problems like spamming

  • Mainly the job of BO/BVs - bc although anyone can steal bakes, make dups, and SPAM and SHILL, only BO/BVs can make edits and deletions

What matters most right now

 

1. New board (why create it? isn't it disloyal to /qr/?)

  • need to prepare another board in case one is requested by Q

  • meanwhile, gives somewhere for anons to work wo/constant bombardment by shills

  • reminds visitors what a smoothly functioning Q board looks like

 

2. Staying in touch with what is going on at /qr/ - especially anon questions/concerns

  • most anons are still at /qr/ - and Q still posts there (so needed for situational awareness)

  • keep up on latest shill tactics & counter them when possible (e.g., call out flat-out lies - like "comms is purposely sabotaging the breads")

  • lets us know where anons are at and how we can support them wo/also 'enabling' the shills (that is the difficulty!!)

 

3. Help anons become more aware of the situation & taking more responsibility for the breads

  • they are trying to do this, but have a lot less info than bakers (we been dealing with this situation since April)

  • can happen at /qr/, at /mr/, and in classes/forums like baking seminar (anywhere else??)

because it speaks to the issue of why /qr/ is so fucked up right now.

hope this provides some ideas for how to counter it:

 

CHIEF FALSE IDEAS/ASSUMPTIONS that can be exploited by shills to damage the kitchen

 

  1. Anyone can bake.

In theory, yes. But few do. Among those that do, few remain bakers. Among those who remain, few are available to bake day in and day out. So the numbers of 'core crew' bakers is always small.

 

  1. Baking is easy.

If baking is so easy, why have the bakes been so screwed up for weeks? Because regular bakers seldom bake in /qr/ (bc their dough corrections are repeatedly reversed by shills or bakes are stolen by those with shill backing). If it's so easy, why aren't more anons baking?

 

  1. Bakers shouldn't have baker names.

Why is it better? Better in what way? Lots of anons have names (BO/BVs, ResignationAnon, GMTanon, etc.). None are their real names, just designators that allow us to know the role of the person on the board. Baker names are similar. They allow bakers to communicate clearly during handoffs. Also allow anons to know who is baking. Is that bad? Do anons not want to know who is baking? (I doubt it.)

 

  1. Long-time baking crew won't hand off except to their 'buddies'.

Based on idea that baking is a closed club. Once when shills were saying this, bakers made a special point to ask every single bread if someone else wants to bake. Especially someone new. They never did - even got to be a joke made into a meme about how "lotsa" anons wanted to bake (NOT).

 

  1. It's bad for bakers to plan or have shifts.

Having baker names means bakers can talk to other bakers to let them know when they are available to bake, so we don't end up with unexpected ghost breads at times when Q may post. Shills imply that bakers who can communicate will do so to "takeover the kitchen" (whatever that means).

 

  1. Anons would rather have anon making than know who is baking upfront.

Saying who you are upfront tells anons who is baking. Many like the idea. Why would anons want less transparency?

 

  1. Bakers were forced to produce named pbins or qbins to bake this summer.

No - not forced. But encouraged - yes. In order to prevent WR from sneaking stuff into the dough using anonymous bakes. That problem disappeared when bins were voluntarily used by most bakers when offering handoff. Not a perfect system - if used again, could be worked out in a way that allowed for complete anonymity.

 

  1. Bakers from "comms" have been sabotaging the dough.

Absolutely not. This is just a BIGGEST or the BIG LIES recently told about bakers. Meant to make sure that experienced bakers don't make it into the kitchen.

here we have the tradeoff between the "anyone can bake" idea and the fact that when "anyone can bake," shills bake too.

 

Sometimes it's not a big problem - occasional shill bakes happen.

But WR was pushing an agenda and pushing hard.

That's how bakers came this spring to trying to be able to recognize who wanted to bake when they offered.

 

I think anons liked knowing this too although it would be hard to admit because shills always jump you saying "name-fagging".

Actually, I do not personally believe that OSS is more than one person. I do believe OSS has an OP involving more than one person and that they have the ability to communicate off the board. DEfinitely communicates with FJ using Report - and from there it would be easy to do other off board commsn.

OSS is cruel, insulting, and power-hungry. Never asks anyone "Why did you do x?" Just starts spamming "COMP'D!!!" Not much is right about that.

 

Choosing anime over OSS -

I choose neither. They probably work together, animes do not respond to what anons want and put muh joos spam in the bread. You want to chose THAT?
