Qresearch is a 24/7 beehive of activity where anons post their diggs, memes and prayers.

For this to happen requires ''bakers''–which is why they have been called "the core of this board."

Bakers perform several key functions:

* Set the tone for each bread via their choice of bread title and /comms/ with posters.

* Post notables for each bread.

* Bake breads (transition the board from one thread to the next).

* Knead the dough (keeping the resource pages clean, tidy, and up-to-date).

When all goes well, baking is a fun & exciting opportunity to serve. When things get wonky and shills attack–bakers carry on anyway.

Notables for Newbies

Due to baking problems on /qr/, a lot of anons now end up as note-takers.

Presentation will present an overview & point to resources you can use as a new note-taker.

The Basic Basics on how to take good notes

Use a text editor like notepad or notepad++ not Word

Learn simple formatting: bold, red text

bold is ''' on both sides of a word

red text is == on both sides

(Listed in Pass the Exam thread; you can practice there)

Look at previous notables

• Pick an example you like and use the same formatting & general approach

• Try to include key details (who, what, when, where, etc.)

• Strike a balance between way too long and way too short

• if unsure, ask anons: "In or out?"

Post notables about every 200 posts

• There's no rule

• Pick a time when things aren't too busy

• Ask anons to check them - they will

Remember:

Note-taker notes are always subject to a look-over by baker

True whether baker is in current bread or the next

Baker can always edit note-taker notables

True even if a baker is taking them (if he does not sign in as baker)

Taking Notes as a Note-taker not Baker

Two possibilities: baker absent vs baker present

Baker absent (bread is "ghosted"):

1. best if you sign in and saynote-taker on duty

(so there aren't multiple note-takers)

1. To sign in: TAG THE DOUGH POST & BAKER GHOST POST

2. post notes regularly (about every 200 posts - like 200, 400, 600, Final @660) - TAG to dough post

3. At the top of posted notes, list dough post, "Note-taker notes", where in bread you are (Notables @400)

4. Postneed a bakeror similar (make sure to use red text)

Baker present (but cannot note):

1. Postcan take notesto both baker request post and dough post

2. Say when you will drop the notes (same system works well as above, just drop the final @600 so baker can check it)

3. If you sign out, saynote-taker must leaveand list current notes. Be sure to tag the dough post and baker ghost post.

If Q POSTS, ask anons to collect Q posts. Someone will step up.

Put anything you can find in notables if possible.

Do your best, can always be finished up next bread.

Deciding What to Notable

from an earlier doc but updated, next pg points to the update

Look for anon noms, they are usually notable.

"Usually" because shills nom too. So do trolls, for fun. If not sure, either ask for a 2nd nom or say what's missing (often a description).''

For noms wo/a description, ask for one.

These are usually anon diagrams, analyses & Q proofs. Hard to evaluate much less write a description. It's the responsibility of the poster or nom-mer to provide one.

Look for newsy articles

If necessary, edit the title to be more neutral (not insulting) or shorter if wordy (or add important details if missing)

Look for special reports: planefags, boatfags, Resignations in the News, etc.

Anons seldom nom these, except for RA's stuff if they don't see it in Notes.''

If there is too much news & bred is fast…

…focus mainly on nommed posts, breaking news (if verified), news re Q concerns (CP, etc.).

Check for two things: dates and whether it's been notabled (in qresear.ch).

Easy during slow breads, hard during fast ones. Dates take priority. But if you forget, anons or shills will always let you know.

Before we had class, there was no forum for bakers - either new or old - actually talking.

• The original 'bakers lounge' and 'newbies' /comms/ threads were defunct by the time i started baking.

• The baker id thread from summer 2019 was a nice forum but fell to the wayside after deplatforming, never came back.

• After 'teach' started this class, bakers had a place to talk. Yes, we helped newer bakers both get started and keep going - but also older bakers returning. And current bakers got to know each other better (hard to talk in the stream, as you all know).

• bakers meta thread (in comms) was an outgrowth of this thread

• and even mr was made easier bc bakers got to know and trust one another

At this point, despite current challenges, bakers are pretty solid as a group. It's like we're ready and able - just gotta be pointed at a target. Even tho mr is sorta 'overstaffed' at the moment (which is really funny when you think of it - finally solved THAT problem, din we?), bakers turn out to be pretty good diggers too. And that attracts other diggers. And anons too.

Don't know how exactly we'll be used in the future - and whether on /qr/, /mr/ or somewhere else. Just know we got something good going on. Grateful to nb for having the idea to start out.

Been happenin' gradual-like, my whole life. Knew about the Roundtable stuff, Trilateral Commission, NWO, etc., decades ago. But it was all just planning, you never saw real 'fruits' from it, everything on the surface seemed to remain the same (at least - sorta).

'Anyone can bake' narrative is interesting coz it mirrors the 'anyone can learn' narrative used by Common Core advocates in education. Leads to a lowest common denominator approach where the slowest student dictates the pace of a class.

In /qr/, means stds are drastically lowered, with the argument "Well, wny not?" (why not change the general image? why not put muh joos in notables? etc.)
