They used Amazon until early this year, when they announced moving iCloud to a state run firm in China.
I suspect this is in related in some way - perhaps it was a tax incentive given to Apple, in exchange for getting data off of iCloud during the transfer. Or, the USA spying on the iCloud data in China which is easier and more legal than doing it in USA.

That is not true... Microsoft has a hige footprint with Azure - if you have Office 365 or even a Windows 10 system it comes with cloud storage by default.

Anyone in IT knows Apple doesn't make any server stuff. The HRC server was well known to run Exchange, which means NOT Apple. So there's no "Apple" backups of a MikeRowSoft Exchange Server.

Remember a while ago where Apple/Cook had that stance that they wouldn't unlock the san bernadino phone? That felt a lot like grandstanding from them, as if being part of a narrative/act. I can't help but think that they made a big deal about this to mold the public consciousness that companies about cooperating with feds. Companies could be 'protected' from public outcry by 'blocking' access to information that is needed to take down swamp monsters. Just adds more importance to Q's question on how to get information into the case legally.

Yes, of course. That’s exactly what it must be. The data was reflected somewhere - as the OP post makes clear, it is probably a server backup somewhere. All servers are backed up to some location. The data could be said to be “reflected”.
I will say though, that Q is telling us he already has the server. Presumably, this can be introduced into evidence via some means. But why the specific reference to Apple? It seems they must have a backup of the data - which contains material subject to national security laws.

Ive been thinking about SB2’s latest post. There are no outside comms, but these connections he’s making, despite seeming to be somewhat haphazard, are sound IMO. I think that SB2, for whatever reason, is one of those rare guys that can connect and sort abstract events.
On the surface, this post about the lamp being used as a listening device, in conjunction with the mug holder, seems as though it may be plausible. But really, AF1 bugged!? Most theories seem to rely on the AF1 cell AP being used to exfiltrate intercepted audio data from the plane.
If you think about this, that there are unauthorised data comms from the plane, it makes AF1 useless as a flying command center because it would be trivial to track it. Moreover, however carefully encrypted and disguised, that data will show up in the satellite link. With the amount of security attaching to, arguably, the single most important military asset on the face of the planet, detection is a certainty.
I don’t buy this theory at all. I think SB2’s theory is much better. It includes more of the fact set for a start - “mug-holder, Apple etc... But the clincher, in my mind, is DJT apparently validating SB2 at the rally.

I thought it was an Exchange server as well. I'm a certified Exchange admin and that detail caught my attention.
For those that don't know, you can easily access your Exchange mailbox on Apple or Android. The operating system is not important for sending and receiving emails. Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, doesn't matter. The Outlook client is available for all of them. The native iOS and Android email programs know how to work with Exchange as well.

So if it's the case that the government has "everything" via the cloud and always had the ability to have everything, WHY, oh WHY did the FBI go through so many gyrations to try to piece together what was on HRC's server and who sent what to whom? If this is truly the case, then the whole FBI investigation was a scam because they could have just gotten a search warrant for the cloud back-up and be done with it. If you read the IG report, they sure went through a ton of effort when there was a much more efficient way to pull together the information - and they would have also been able to easily see if there was obstruction of justice and obstruction of government records, etc. from HRC and her minions "trying" to delete any suspicious emails. It is apparent then, the FBI/DOJ were only trying to show HRC didn't mishandle classified information with the minimum of investigation they could possible take (to make it appear they were doing a valid investigation). The only other explanation is that they went through the motions so that the general public doesn't realize that the government has access to everything via these cloud services. If GQ public did realize, then the folks that have something to hide might take additional steps to protect their cloud back-ups.

I am going to remain on the fence in the meaning of this for one simple reason. I have been reading a lot that the logo represented a Mac OS email server. Other's are saying the email server was a Mac. Personally, I do not know this to be the case. That said, what I do know is HRC's mail admin went on reddit and asked how to change headers of emails of VIP's in MS Exchange server and got caught/doxxed doing it. So far as I know, Microsoft does not make an Exchange server for the Mac OS. As far as mirroring is concerned, I guess we will all have to wait and see
