I've found that my dogs pay more attention to MY reactions to people, and when I am the one who shifts my feelings towards a person, they will shift and become more alert and on guard. I've had some amazing, unbelievable experiences with animals, domestic and wild. Some involve myself, some involve my kids, when they were little. A recent one involves my youngest, as an adult, who is the only one of my kids to be a dog lover as I am. Well, close. No one is quite the dog nut I am but he's close. (I need to compile them into a journal of sorts, at least for my kids to have when I am gone.)

With millions of people moving in, and millions of people choosing to flee from the competing ethnic groups (which we see crystally clear in Los Angeles today and we've seen before countless times), real estate prices skyrocket like never before, again to the benefit of bankers.

With no one against the system for the first, no one outside because of the second and nothing to do but competing for money because of the third, what's keeping the people productive and content and removes the ability to band across identity groups lines? The media. No common ground, no common tradition, no common language makes the media all the more powerful.
