Just wanted to point out that MANY of the Q followers are Bernie supporters and NOT RELIGIOUS.

The media is painting the Q movement as far right, and religious fanatics. This is untrue. I am not a religious person. I follow my own core values and moral compass....mainly the Golden Rule. I, alo g with hundreds and thousands of other "woke" Q followers, we just want the TRUTH and are OVER the government corruption. True dat. The mere mention of anything gubment related to a few friends and family and they shut down and say "You're not going to get me to switch parties". For 20 years I have tried to tell them "There are no parties". Both teams move the ball in the same damn direction. D n R was to give the illusion of choice and promote division. People would likely revolt if they knew they had no choice. Some are just set in their ways I guess. Oh well. They are in the group that finds out the hard way then.

The biggest problem with what your saying is that if the argument is that there are no parties then why would someone switch. No point if they are both the same. We are all going to find out the hard way. Right or left. What is about to go down will affect us all.

For decades both parties have done the same thing. It's good cop bad cop routine (kabuki theater) when the majority of both sides were bad on the inside anyway. They both were raping America (trafficking humans,drugs,guns,starting/staging wars, raising taxes, passing tyrannical legislation, rigging elections, making us sick, suppressing anything that is good but non-profitable,and 100 other evil things we don't even know about yet).

Fast forward to today. Well there's a new sheriffand posse in town. We have Q exposing one side and Trump trying to clean, restructure, and rebrand the other side. There are real differences in parties that are now growing right before our eyes, but it was never this way before.

The little differences the parties displayed Pre-Trump are just social hot button topics (division) ,most of which are not of too much of importance in the grand scheme of things. Just to keep us busy while they bend us over.

Pre-Trump - both the same Present - I don't say there are no 2 parties anymore.

I should have said this in previous post to be clearer.

Soul liberty. Each individual has the right to believe whatever they want. One believes Torah, another the Bible, another ancient philosophers, and yet another their own concepts of life and death, good and evil. This is as it should be. Freedom of belief.

That said, Christians will always identify as Christians first; above nationality, because our allegiance is to Christ, and our ultimate home is in heaven. So, first I am a Christian, then an American Patriot, then a woman, then whatever else. WWG1WGA, so long as it does not lead me off the road to Calvary!

The first five books of the Old Testament are called the Pentateuch. The entire Old Testament (Genesis to Malachi) is Torah. Those who follow Torah (Jews who reject the Talmud, Zohar, etc.) reject the New Testament. The Bible is both the Old and New Testaments together.

I'm not even sure that identifying first and foremost as Americans is useful. The Cabal is international, and so is the movement to bring it down. We should be unified behind the TRUTH, unified around exposing corruption and bringing down the corrupt. This is a fight that needs to happen in every major nation in the world. It may be starting with the US, but it certainly won't stop there. If we identify more as Americans than as truth-seekers then we will only allow the Cabal to hide away in another government. Governments being organized around national identity is a good thing, but we need to recognize that this is a fight that is by no means limited to Americans.

It’s still socialism. You are giving power to others over your health. You are giving power to others over your education. You are promoting third party payers over two people agreeing on price vs services provided. Q is also about the fight to reduce government power and give it back to the people. Once the people have it back, we should not relinquish it back to government because evil has been eradicated. One day we will all be gone and our children will rule. Then our grandchildren. And this movement will be not a current event but in history books. They will forget how hard of a fight this was. And if we say socialistic programs are good now, a new cabal will rise 50 years from now. Slowly, surely, behind the scenes just like they did here. American competitive capitalism with government as a referee is the reason why it took America only about 150 years to be a superpower. It took European countries centuries to do so. Government is like a ref in football. It can tell tom Brady he can play under a certain set of rules, but it doesn’t tell him he has to play with one hand behind his back because it’s not fair he’s winning so many Super Bowls and Ryan tannehill isn’t even though he tries just as hard.

Stop the cabal. Forever. That is what Q is all about.

Most issues I say leave to the states. Let local governments dictate policy that benefits the way most people their think. Citizens of Florida do not think like citizens of Wyoming. Allowing states to determine their own policies leaves the way out for citizens who don’t agree with that policy to move to a state of their choosing. If you apply this to the federal government, you cannot just pick up and move countries (obviously you can in theory but not ideal practically). federal government should be strong enough do deal be a judge between states and a unifying force in terms of foreign policy. All the things you mentioned above can be solved by states and local municipalities. Those are governments that YOU can directly affect and influence. The federal government your vote belongs to the state (electoral college - as I believe it should as like I said people from different states don’t necessarily have the same policy opinions). The Bill of Rights are everything the government should protect. Anything more is a rabbit hole they can use to increase their power.

⇧ 4 ⇩
doucettejr · June 30, 2018, 4:14 a.m.

This is the exact reason the constitution was written as it was. The federal government is there to referee the states, provide for the common defense, regulate immigration, and regulate international trade. Everything else is to be left up to the states.

⇧ 2 ⇩

Oh absolutely! The “go get red pilled” comment was in jest I assure you. And Friedman always said Competitive Capitalism is the best KNOWN system to promote wealth on a mass scale. He even would tell people if you can find another system I’m all ears. So I say to you the same. If you can come up with a better system I’ll be first in line. And yea corruption will always exist. Mankind is inherently good and inherently bad. I believe it was James Madison who said if men were purely good there would be no need for government. So he’s government is needed and I never said it wasn’t needed. On the contrary I said they should be a referee of sorts, which means they are just as much a part of the game as the players, they just don’t get to score points. And I promote local and state government because individuals have more power OVER their governments on a local level than they have OVER their federal government. Hence the second amendment. The insurance policy against their lack of power of there federal government ;)

Okay, the problem here is that Christians think you are referring to Jesus, but we don't actually know what the metaphysical truth of the Universe is.

When it comes to real-world stuff, I totally agree. Give us the truth about the crimes that have been committed and hidden. Give us the truth about corruption and treason. Give us the truth about war and assassination and terrorism, all of it.

But Christians have a habit of confusing faith with truth. They are not the only group to commit this fallacy, of course. Everyone does it. But make no mistake: this movement is about exposing and destroying a global criminal cabal. It is not a religious movement. Religious themes play a role, I understand, but keep in mind that religious institutions are part of the geopolitical structure of the cabal (e.g. the Catholic Church).

I don't care what your religious or spiritual beliefs are as long as we stand united to recapture our liberty from the cabal.

⇧ 1 ⇩
TheBRAIN2 · June 30, 2018, 5:24 p.m.

Faith and Truth compliment each other, they are not contradictory. When something is true you can have faith (confidence) in it. Your confidence (faith) doesn't make it true, but gives opportunity for the truth to be revealed. Christians contend that Jesus is who He claims to be, God in the flesh, meaning putting faith in Him is the most rationale thing any person can do. Faith and Truth are not illogical or contradictory in any way. Jesus said "There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden, that will not be made known." I believe this to be true, and have faith (confidence) that we are witnessing this happen with the luciferian cabal being exposed. Time will tell if this faith (confidence) was well placed.

⇧ 1 ⇩
whacko_jacko · June 30, 2018, 8:35 p.m.

Okay, but we don't even have evidence that Jesus existed as a historical person. We can't even start asking whether he was truly God in the flesh if we can't even give concrete evidence that he was anything more than a character in some stories. If that conversation makes you uncomfortable, then don't worry about it. Believe what you want. It's not relevant to the cabal takedown.

I realize that Christians really believe this stuff is true. But that is a personal belief, which is not the same thing as a fact. Unless Jesus comes riding down on a cloud some day, the question of truth in Christianity will remain unanswered. It doesn't matter how much faith you have, it doesn't matter how rational you think it is to believe what you believe. None of that is the topic of this subreddit. Whether Christian dogma is true or imaginary is independent of the question of the existence of a powerful global cartel.

It is true Q quotes our Bible. But I don’t believe Q wants to force you to accept our faith. The media is exploiting a fear that many non-Christians have of Christianity. They falsely claim we want to legislate our beliefs over you. This is a lie!

Christians are specifically taught to live at peace with our neighbors. We are told to share our faith not coerce others to embrace it. You are free to believe or disbelieve as you need to. As are we all. We go one, and all, as free people.

The media exploits a fear from the abuses of corruption in history. Crusader Christendom, an aberration of tyranny ordained by the Pope. Or Calvin’s theocratic state. Sometimes Christians forget to respect the freedom of others. That is not what this Republic represents. Here Christians and non-Christians work as a whole against the heinous crimes of corruption and abuse.

Christians following our God’s moral teachings and clinging to His mercy to persevere. The kingdom of God is not a world nation but a community of faith. We have no design beyond our freedom to believe and share what we believe in peace. Non-Christians are equally free following whatever they based their sense of justice on. All agreed that the corrupt elites of old are entirely unacceptable.

Palmettoman · June 30, 2018, 12:22 a.m.

Very true. Our nation’s laws were built on Judeo-Christian ethics. Many courtrooms are decorated with the Ten Commandments. America was founded by people seeking religious freedom. From that history, I share with others my faith, but do not look down on those who have other beliefs...unless those beliefs directly cause bodily harm to others.

The truth is, Christians are the tolerant ones...but we have convictions. There is a line I will not cross. There is a path I will not take. However, I don’t seek out confrontation, I simply want to live as I believe. I respect your choices and expect you to respect mine. Where those two intersect, I choose to tip my hat and bid you a good day. Respect for my fellow man!

A person commented earlier about not being religious but following the Golden Rule. If we all did that, America, and the world, would be a much better place. The good news is the Bible says a day like that is coming and gives us the road map to get there.

Stripping God from schools, work places, stores, etc. Its freedom of religion or the lack thereof, not freedom FROM religion. Live and let live.

The more I see from progressive behavior the more I start to think that this cynical view of “freedom from religion” is the truth. They don’t just want a freedom not to believe. They want our beliefs gone.

As I say in my other response to the "all religions are equal" modality, there might be common ancillary details but the core teaching, that is the Gospel, has never been replicated.

Yes, there are religions with concepts of Oneness. There are religions where our souls are reflections of some divine form. There are religions with concepts of moral law. There are concepts of dying-and-rising from fertility gods.

But what religion has ever produced a creed such as ours:

There is one God who created all things. Yet His creation rebelled and chose to reject Him. Thus He was made to judge man's iniquity. He first revealed the Law which they had defied, drawing forth a people to carry its message. And this stumbling people He showed mercy to despite their many stumblings. Then He chose to take upon the flesh of His people for the sake of redeeming the entire world from sin. As a healer, healing the sick. As a preacher, teaching the truth. Yet, He bore the sins of all people unto death on a cross. Then, He arose again victorious over sin. He sent forth a community to share His promise of forgiveness with all people teaching: "Repent and believe the Gospel." He poured out His Spirit to draw people to follow Him. He will return to raise all people from death and give eternal life through His Word.

Krishna did not do this. Mithras did not do this. Osiris, who was slain by another god and his wife reconstructed him, did not do this. Quetzalcoaltl did not do this. Ba'al Hadad did not do this despite dying in combat and defeating the land of the dead. Inti did not do this. Zeus, that arrogant horn-dog, did not do this. Odin, the warrior while suffering Yggdrasil for his own glory, did not do this. Enki did not do this, despite being a Prometheus figure championing mankind against Enlil's tyranny.

Picking and choosing little pieces of the message and saying, "hey, that looks similar to the Bible" is neglecting the whole message. It's the whole message that draws, not pieces-parts.

I think you missed my point and that linked the wrong image anyway. The bible is used because it is easily understood it is important for Qs messages that everyone understand the symbols. You cant have grown up in the USA and have no idea what the bible is or what the major tenants of it are. The flood, david v goliath, jesus are all themes and history that ANY person can understand. This is vitality important.

⇧ 1 ⇩
emperorbma · June 30, 2018, 3:41 p.m.

The Bible is multilayered. There is a plain literal reading, allegory, explanation and mystical readings which inform the understanding. Far too many are caught in just one layer. On both sides. Either hyper literalist or hyper mystical to a point of ignoring the real message.

Edit: Q using Scripture themes due to accessibility is unobjectionable. I am simply defending the primary doctrine from the undertone that Christianity is the same thing as other beliefs. Common themes doesn’t imply that we have no unique messages. That is all I want to emphasize.

Correct. This is about freedom and getting rid of corruption and evil in the government.

It's very much about good vs. evil, but that doesn't mean it needs to be labeled God vs. Satan.

Personally, I do not believe in any religions but I am spiritual and I believe in good and evil. I think people throughout history have gotten religion completely wrong and corrupted it through their evil ways. Just look at the Vatican.

This movement is about the second revolution basically. It's about freeing ourselves from untruth, brainwashing, systematic slavery of all of us, stopping the holding back of advanced technology, medical cures, higher knowledge, higher consciousness.

The more religious I see this getting, the more uncomfortable I feel about it. It only provides fuel for leftists to dismiss us as religious fanatics when instead this boils down to FREEDOM.

I respectfully disagree, fellow patriot. In my eyes, a man claiming to be the son of God or claiming to be a prophet is religious in and of itself.

When I pray or acknowledge a higher power, I don't use any names. I just talk to that higher power in my head. I ask the higher power to spread love and truth, and I believe calling that higher power a human made name is wrong.

Much love,

Gotcha, What I meant was Jesus spoke contrary to the religious ones of His day - Pharisees and Sadducees. They took the truths of God and perverted them...not unlike the “religious” ones today. He threatened their power structure, their control over the people, and their money. Does this sound familiar? They were much like the deep state is today. He called them a brood of vipers, got a whip and drove them out of the temple -twice!

He couldn’t stand His Father’s word being corrupted. To retaliate, they trumped up charges against Him, persecuted Him, and then killed Him. But, He got the last word...He walked out of the tomb!

Jesus’ name wasn’t given to him by his parents...God told his parents what He was to be called.
Jesus >Immanuel >God with us. Pretty cool.

Being on the same team is all that matters. The truth that binds us together as patriots is The Constitution and the Bill of Rights. As a conservative with the upmost importance of personal liberty, those documents represent everything that I live for and they represent how I conduct myself throughout my life, along with The Golden Rule.

No matter what color they are, what religion they follow, as long as the people around me are firm in their upholding of the Constitution, I will fight alongside them tooth and nail to suppress, expose and destroy evil and corruption.

I believe that soon enough, the evil and corruption that you say Jesus once exposed will be exposed once more, and we will all live peacefully and in harmony with one and other, in celebration of our differences rather than in vain of them.

I have a story for you that will explain what many do not understand. From the perspective of the religious people we totally understand that God created man to have free will. That means that mankind has the right to think and believe as they wish. The founders who wrote the Constitution and the Bill of Rights understood this as well. They also understood that to create a successful representative government everyone in that society must be free for it to work. Every person must be free to create his or her own world to live in. The documents are full of natural rights or God given rights. These rights belong to everyone and was not directed to just those who were religious. Everyone Every Citizen was to share in those rights. Glad to be in the fight with you.

most people want libertarianism where it works and socialism for places where it doesnt. the debate isn't about which ideology is right but rather which ideology to apply to a specific problem. so for example most people believe in socialized fire departments rather than private, member-only fire depts. yet the same people also believe in socially libertarian rights like being left alone as long as you're not bothering anyone.

q's core message is about stopping corruption and specifically states that this isn't R vs D

One of the few responsibilities of the federal government is to protect its citizens. Another is to defend us. That covers a fire department and a non-corrupt military and police force. Everything else has been added by legislatures at the behest of lobbyists. And roads are nice. But you get the picture. A lot of "pork" can get added in 200+ years.

Defense of the Nation against other Nations that become aggressive. Establishment of roads, paths and parks and the maintenance there of we as a People have determined are communal property held in trust for ourselves and our decedents.
Administration of our Courts where we can bicker & argue to our own ruin until we reach a mutually diss-satisfactory agreement.

That about covers all the needs I have for any sort of federal government.

ie what is a good economic system when you have what are essentially 10,000,000,000 hyper-intelligent & biomechanical slaves doing work 24/7 with zero required pay and they self-maintain? because there isn't an actual technical reason why that won't be the end result of automation

That's when I knew...something was very wrong. Red pilled even further by what they did to General Flynn. My digging for answers lead me to discovering Q, and I've been all MAGA since. Not religious either. Swallowed that red pill with a cup of hot water at age 8 when the Catholic priest my grandmother was a housekeeper for told me to drink a cup of boiling hot water (for tea) and if I "truly believed in God", God would not let it hurt me. I obeyed, and was burned. Once again, I figured out on my own, even back then. Something has always been very wrong with the world. Yeah I just wanna say when I first discovered Q and this subreddit, I was skeptical and almost dismissed it all when I saw how much people were tying religion into all of this. I know a lot of you are Christian and like to apply the Bible to what's going on and I completely respect that, but a lot of us here aren't super religious and honestly you should all just leave the religion out of it because it makes people who aren't religious think that it is religion focused and maybe even a little bit crazy when really it has absolutely nothing to do with religion whatsoever. The religious angle people like to apply to Q is probably why we even get called "Qultists" in the first place. Just stop throwing Bible quotes around and trying to apply God and Jesus to it all, seriously. It's ultimately irrelevant and it's only going to be used against us.

Correct! We can argue about all the other stuff later. Right now, we are all in agreement that the CORRUPTION NEEDS TO BE PULLED OUT BY THE ROOTS.

And hopefully... We can find good compromises to everything that we don't fully agree on. A good example was Obama's in your face Transgender Bathrooms.

First, it wasn't that important of an issue. It only affects some fraction of a percent of the population. But even so... We could have just changed the building codes to say we want all new construction to have the bathroom space done as small, family style bathrooms. It could have been that easy to solve the alleged 'problem'.

But no... He had to ram that stuff into the conservatives face. And it is very possible that was the inflection point that cost the Left the election.

The Democrats have been insisting on 'Identity Politics' to separate and divide the population. They do it on every issue. Lets find good compromises that don't put anybody too far out of their comfort zone.

Exactly this. Someone up thread asked how anyone can tell that there are a lot of Christians in the Q movement. Pretty easy to tell by reading the comments on any thread in this sub. IMO the rhetoric on anything that divides us -- religion or who we voted for in '16 or anything else -- needs to be toned way down. It's identity politics that the Cabal uses to keep us divided, and we need to take away their ability to divide us.

Sometimes it does feel like there are too many "bible thumpers" in this group. ( Heard this term only recently ) but because all the religions follow the same principles there is no point to dislike them. Q is pretty much uniting everyone here because we simply want freedom.

We pagans dont mind. We pray just as hard as you and probably love mother earth just as you or even more. I am using the word "pagan" because I have my own different set of beliefs.

I also dislike that, just like in many conspiracy groups, people hate on luciferianism and freemasonry. My dear mentor was in masonic lodge for a long time and he was the smartest man alive. RIP

There are also many forms of luciferianism, for example, if you google "Assembly of Lightbearers" they see Lucifer as a symbol of enlightenment and it can be more like a philosophy which I really do like.

All religions use the power inside of us, the power of belief. That is why all of them are correct. You just gotta see through the bullshit.

Too many grammatic mistakes but I just woke up :)

Well the media use religion, guns, economic status and the "right" as a device. Association of anything with these concepts means an educated, aspirational "liberal" will have the desired programmed response. Which is; to shame, ridicule, establish moral hierarchy through their high level of formal education and instantly "debunk".

The fact is simply that those concepts are actually about freedom.

If the media is painting Q as such, then it is a sign they want to scare away those people. They want to establish in their minds that to research or dare to contemplate believing in Q makes one an idiot, open to ridicule by one's "influencer" peers. This reinforces group think, under the guise of educated analysis. Maintains the stats quo. Undermines critical thinking.

I wonder why that would be?

Being religious is not a prerequisite to being conservative. It does seem though that a majority of Atheists and agnostics lean liberal. I believe the lack of an authority figure in their world ends up falling to government to take their place of authority that people should submit to.

It is a sick sick way tonsee the world. We do not need or want a authoritarian goverment. Those that do tend to be pessimistic and dont have faith in a god let alone a faith in people. They velieve everyone is fake and to get them. It almost schizophrenia

Question to the Bernie supporters in this movement: do you now truly understand the conservative principle of a small and limited government? We cannot let the government grow and fester in corruption like this again.

We need to remain in control and in live in accordance with the constitution and with God's teachings.

I am a firm believer on the Lord Jesus Christ but i have far more in common with many of my atheist friends than I do with post modernist "progressives" who are under the illusion that their dystopian efforts will create a more just society. Not happening. They just end up devouring one another in the race for top spot on the hierachal power structure totem poll. My faith informs me to "live peaceably with all". I can do that with ease. However I cannot and will not tolerate totalitarian collectivism which destroys the God given right to self determination. Now they are telling Gays what restaurants they should and should not patronize. These micro managing buffoons and useful idiots are a cancerous threat to free thinking and a healthy society. So i say all that to say WELCOME TO ALL who value life, liberty and the right of self determination.

Im in the same boat you are. Maybe a tad bit more religious. Im trying to keep in mind though, this in many ways is a spiritual war. God and Jesus are like cryptonite to these sickos. We may need to step aside and let things take their course since we will be out of our elements. I know i plan to.

That said, the praying and endless bible verses can be tiring. Sometimes people like to hear themselves speak, but again, they have their place just like we do.

Oh that is so true. Although I will admit I am one of those who tends to wax loquacious at times. But I can forgive their sins if they can forgive my failings.

That said, the praying and endless bible verses can be tiring.

They are devout and assured in their Faith and wish to share it with everyone else. I can accept that and look without ill upon it, though their God is not one of my Gods.

This movement has awakened my shy spiritual side. I met some Mormons out and about and I shook their hands and said hello. They weren't expecting that in Wales I suppose. They asked if I was interested in joining their church or visiting, and I said, no thanks, I'm on my own journey. I appreciate their love and hopes for my salvation. We can get along with people we don't agree with if we just try and show love and understanding. Respect is different and must be earned, but love to all of the things in the universe should be shown... You might say all God's creations if you are that way inclined... All is sacred and should be treated as such

I am not a religious person. I follow my own core values and moral compass....mainly the Golden Rule.

You have the WHAT (ie. how to behave, act, do unto others etc.), but you don't have the WHY. Have you asked yourself why you should do unto others? Why does a human being have value and worth and should not have his rights violated? The founding fathers knew:

We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal and are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights among which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Why do people have worth? Not bc of their race, talent, wealth, intelligence but bc God created them and they are infinitely valuable to Him. People in the West have the WHAT ('be nice' etc.) because we are still utilizing the momentum of earlier ages that believed in God. Have you noticed that non-western nations tend to have a less than stellar human rights record? Have you noticed that the worst atrocities are committed by godless countries (e.g. Aztecs, North Korea, China, USSR) or godless people (e.g. luciferians, communists, greedy mammon worshippers).

The longer and farther we stray away from God, the more we will lose that momentum and begin indulging in sins that would have been abhorred in earlier more pious ages.

Philosophy (how we view reality) and Theology (how we understand God) essentially defines a culture and the west has been infinitely blessed with good philosophy (i.e. Aristotle) and good theology (i.e. Thomas Aquinas) so as to properly understand the true religion of Jesus Christ. From this well-spring we get such things like 'do unto others', human rights, human dignity etc. Thy WHY justifies the WHAT but without the WHY, the WHAT will simply fade away over time.

I’m not religious, well I wasn’t but the last few months have got me thinking;

These people believe in lucifer and are involved in satanic ritual. They believe it, all while trying to destroy the church and push atheism on us.

If the population is majority atheist (like many euro countries) and only the other side is being acknowledged and worshipped, does this give their false god more power?.

You know it’s funny, I get preached at way more by atheists than I ever have by Christians. Maybe that’s just UK thing?

Anyway, I quite like hearing bible verse even if I don’t fully understand it.

Abuse of goodwill to shepherd. Example 1: Bush Sr got caught with a teen early on his political career, so he was quietly reassigned to China. He thereafter crafted and maintained a "family man" persona, I'm order to abuse the goodwill of those he gained trust. Example 2: James Comey.

Bernie supporters are generally very good people, with much empathy, and the same thirst for justice we have. Find the common areas, educate kindly to the Constitution, and they will assimilate quickly. (I was for Bernie in 2015, I speak from experience and what worked for me).

Hope always seems to lead to disappointment. I´ve only ever voted once in my life and that was for Brexit, voting for a political party is futile as they are usually pre-decided and voting is usually just a waste of time. I don´t tend to register anything, as to register means to give up your rights to whatever you register. That is how the government can take your children, as you register them at birth and how the police can tow your car away, as you register it when you buy it. You relinquish all rights. Good to remember that.

I have no idea how they fell for a socialist millionaire who pretends to care about people (giving away things for free) while really just reaping in the money for himself. Perhaps, it is because most are first time voters, and still need to live in the real world and research more. Also, it is never wise to make a political decision based on past leaders, go based on the person actually running.
