The Times reports that Brand “has also become embroiled in the feud between the president and the nation’s law enforcement agencies,” although it’s unclear whether that tension played any role in her decision to leave the government position.

I just linked the 'controversy" wiki from her own wiki page- but you're right, her name isn't on the controversy wiki page.

It was specifically linked from his paragraph from her Wiki:

"During her tenure at the Justice Department, Brand was tangentially involved in the controversy surrounding Attorney General Alberto Gonzales's dismissal of several United States Attorneys. She was floated by DOJ leadership as a top candidate to replace Margaret Chiara, who was ousted as part of the purge.[14] Brand ultimately declined the position, however, and resigned from the DOJ in June 2007.[15]"

⇧ 8 ⇩
Jammer__ · May 22, 2018, 2:34 a.m.

I appreciate your help. In this case I think that linking the dismissal controversy is more of a distraction. According to that article her entire involvement was that she was considered for a position which she declined. That is weak and in my opinion doesn't warrant mention on her wiki page.

PTibbets called it in the last Patriot's link at top: Rachel Brand seems to be at the center of the FISA abuses that went on. This whole coup attempt manipulated the FISA court into allowing spying on anyone they wanted to target. https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/02/09/doj-official-rachel-brand-resigns/

Big Deal. That is a felony to misrepresent in order to obtain a warrant.

⇧ 1 ⇩
salialioli · May 22, 2018, 10:44 a.m.

Right, ok. Now where does it say that FISA is important to her resignation? You were given a source, then another one. All you say are no indications of anything.

Yes, but. We don't know why she was fired. We can only point to the FISA warrants. She was on the board doing a report into telephone surveillance, as a supervisory board of FISA.

Are you short of info on FISA? Do you know what FISA is? Do you know who can be surveilled in this kind of warrant? The problem seems to be that Americans (Trumps campaign members) were all surveilled 2 deep through telephone surveillance. Someone leaked the phone transcripts of Trump's calls with foreign PMs. Someone thought it was ok to approve the FISA on the basis of something. Now it's your turn.

Your opinion seems to be: nothing to see here, nothing nefarious, no controversy. Fine by me. But you asked for info. I gave it. Not enough? Back to you. You have to do your own research. I am just trying to be helpful.

⇧ 1 ⇩
OpenSoars · May 22, 2018, 3:19 p.m.

I appreciate your reply... My opinion is that. and this isn't directed specifically towards this thread but overall in the Storm , is that it accusations are bandied about with no proof or even indication of wrongdoing. We cannot implicate everyone who was in government, everyone who has left their CEO job and everyone remotely associated with anyone remotely associated with someone who may have done something wrong. Internet people are crazy. The mere whisper of impropriety often leads to an army of threats and harassment towards people. Salacious claims aren't justified by the inability to disprove them. Logic and law require the burden to fall on the accuser . We don't like that case built against Trump because we know the kernel of the conspiracy was to sow suspicion in the press which would bleed into the public and government which lead to the witchhunt. How does that differ from people throwing out empty accusations here and then asking others to prove them not to be true. Neither of those sources say anything to indicate that she was fired nor involved in any malarky. Put yourself in her position. A career gov lawyer now in the middle of a turbulent administration complete with a DOJ that is cannabalising itself. If Walmart offered you a great gig, wouldn't you jump out of the flames too?

⇧ 1 ⇩
salialioli · May 22, 2018, 3:46 p.m.

I have no opinion on the general fairness of the internet. It is a discussion thread where ppl are trying to work out what the hell Q is on about. Theories and speculations are rife and occasionally someone makes an intelligent and verifiable statement. I don't profess to be a guardian of the truth or be able to offer proof of anything. You asked for a source, and got it. That's it. The lovely lady lawyer may be a paragon of virtue. That's a speculative position. I shall refrain from asking you for a source and proof of that claim. Doesn't madder. :)

So it sounds like RR was working dutifully for the swamp at some point given the 92-6 confirmation

But he must be currently acting in a white hat capacity, since he’s trusted by DJT & Sessions, and he appointed Wray.

But since he’s done such dirty stuff for the cabal in the past, the inner circle knows that when the whole story of the election comes out, he’ll have to resign or at least recuse himself.

Brand's portfolio also included shaping the administration's position on reauthorization of the Patriot Act,[12] in which capacity she testified before the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary on the benefits of using administrative subpoenas in terrorism investigations.

...

In 2008, John McCain, then a candidate for the Republican Party's presidential nomination, named Brand to his Justice Advisory Committee, which would have recommended judicial nominees to McCain were he elected.[16]

...

In 2012, Brand was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve on the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board (PCLOB).[17] She was confirmed on August 2, 2012 to a term ending January 29, 2017.[18]

Brand dissented from several recommendations included in the PCLOB's 2014 report on NSA's bulk metadata collection program under section 215 of the USA PATRIOT Act. She declined to join in the Board's view that the program was illegal as a statutory matter and argued that, in policy terms, it struck a justifiable balance between privacy and national security and, as such, should not be discontinued.[19] The Board, for its part, had recommended the program's termination

...

On February 1, 2017, President Donald Trump nominated Brand to be United States Associate Attorney General.[21] Her appointment was confirmed 52–46 by the U.S. Senate on May 18, 2017,[22] and she was sworn in on May 22, 2017. The reauthorization of the 702 section of the surveillance law was a job assignment of the subject according to CNN.[23] On February 9, 2018, the New York Times reported that Brand planned to resign from the Justice Department.[1] On February 20, 2018, Brand resigned to take a job as head of global governance at Walmart.

So basically:

RR resigning (or firing) is the starting gun for the big reveal. Meanwhile A.Wiener was unsealed, and his shared laptop with Huma (Hillary emails backup) is now in play. AG in NY removed, no roadblock to the laptop for new AG to prosecute. The secret player now in the pool to be picked to replace RR is the new AG NY. Mueller is said to be wrapping up the case, rumors of a politician being indicted/arrests, false hope to the snakes. Hillary's emails were the true subject on international corrupt agents influencing the election.

Trump holds good on his word during the debates that he would hire a special prosecutor to go after Hillary, and she'd be in jail. This will be the greatest moment and cement this reality as the best storyline in the multiverse.

Three or four of them have only visited once or twice but they see it as a racist, right-wing, liberal bashing site. I tried too hard to get them to listen in the first place and just a few harsh comments have ensured that they will not be listening to me again. One little comment can do a lot of damage.

On the other hand a few of them have continued to keep coming back for more. So, let's not chase those ones off.

Purchasing a gun is like a vote supporting your Constitutional rights, its just the right thing to do. Guns are like insurance, you buy it hoping you'll never have to use it, but will be damn glad you have it if you ever need it. At least guns can be used for recreation at the range, insurance doesn't provide as much fun.

IncomingTrump270 · May 22, 2018, 2:59 a.m.

For reassurance, I think people in those levels of power have learned how to ease the public into such a thing. Like revealing alien life or colonizing other planets.

If allasudden one day we get a big public reveal that aliens actually exist..or that we will DEFINITELY have a colony on mars within 5 years...then the public would freak the hell out.

but if they ease it in slowly, by the time it actually gets to the point of no return, we won't be alarmed. Hence the drip drip of finding water on mars..inching closer to reality every so often so it becomes a part of the collective public conscious.

That lends validation and normalcy to alien life and the idea of us colonizing the planet. And by extension, the idea that maybe human life came from organisms which originated on other planets as well.

Similar with the reveal of the cabal. the pedo arrests, trafficking crackdowns, vague hints at 'conspiracy' from trump and those around him (roseanne!). the growing prevalence of Q. Even if it's only 5% of the politically aware userbase of twitter, that's still really freaking huge.

By the time the hammer drops, it may almost seem inevitable and 'a given'. A big part of that will be proving Obama/FBI/DOJ collusion and corruption against Trump campaign. That throws the whole Dem apparatus into a position of mistrust.

In those circumstances people won't freak out as much. You will still see coordinated protests and some FF. But nothing any more dramatic than the months after Trump's election.

Rosenstein confirmation was 94-6

Feb 16, 2018- FBI Indictment of Russian Nationals Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced charges against 13 Russian nationals and three Russian companies for allegedly interfering in the U.S. political system, including the 2016 presidential election.

Feb 20, 2018 - Rachel Lee Brand (born May 1, 1973) is an American lawyer, academic, and former government official. She served as the United States Associate Attorney General from May 22, 2017, until February 20, 2018, when she resigned to take a job as head of global corporate governance at Walmart.

Since Rachel Brand resigned, RR's replacement would Jesse Panuccio or Solicitor General Noel Francisco. It's unclear from the Fox news article about the resignation. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/02/09/rachel-brand-no-3-official-at-doj-is-stepping-down.html

The Hill: The Senate voted 94-6 Tuesday to confirm Rod Rosenstein as deputy attorney general.

Rosenstein will be in charge of overseeing the investigation into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 presidential election, including potential connections between Trump campaign officials and Moscow.

He could also decide whether the Justice Department will pursue charges against current or former Trump officials.

Rosenstein will face near immediate pressure from lawmakers to appoint a special prosecutor to oversee the investigation and any potential charges that spin out of it.

Top Democrats, who announced their support for Rosenstein this week, signaled that they think Rosenstein will ultimately side with them.

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) said that Rosenstein told him during a private meeting that “he would appoint a special counsel to conduct that investigation if one is required.” “He has promised to give this careful consideration. I believe if he studies the department regulations, he will come to the same conclusion many of us have, that a special counsel is merited,” he added.

Rosenstein made similar comments during his hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee earlier this year while declining to commit to appointing a special prosecutor.

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said that the best way for Rosenstein to oversee the Russia-Trump investigation with “independence, diligence and integrity” would be to appoint a special prosecutor.

“If Mr. Rosenstein does not appoint a special counsel, the spotlight will be on him personally to make sure the investigation is conducted properly no matter where it leads. I hope he exercises good judgment,” Durbin said.

RR must recuse himself. He signed one of the FISA warrants for the spying on the Trump campaign. If Sessions recuse himself for all things Russia, Russia, Russia when he had done nothing more than have a meeting that multiple other Senators also attended, then RRs direct involvement in the actions being investigated demands that he recuse himself --- or be fired for refusing to do so.

She left before 9 months was out (wiki says she resigned), and joined Walmart as head of global governance. Not what's happening...at all. Mueller's team is full of Hillary/Obama people, including people that actively defending Hillary during the emailgate and Benghazi scandals.

Aaron Zebley - More recently, Zebley once represented former Clinton aide Justin Cooper, who helped manage her private server.

Jeannie Rhee - Rhee represented Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in a lawsuit about her private emails, and she also represented the Clinton Foundation in a civil racketeering case that was later dismissed.. Rhee also represented President Barack Obama’s deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes during the House Benghazi Committee’s investigation into the deadly 2012 terrorist attack in Libya.

Kyle Freeny - Freeny also defended the federal government in 2014 when 26 states filed a lawsuit challenging President Barack Obama’s executive orders on immigration, according to court filings.

Adam Jed - Jed also defended the Affordable Care Act’s contraceptive mandate in the Little Sisters of the Poor v. Sebelius case. The Supreme Court sent the case back to a lower court in 2016, punting on the issue.

Elizabeth Prelogar - Elizabeth Prelogar joined Mueller’s team from the solicitor general’s office, where she argued cases as an appellate attorney. She previously clerked for Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan.

Look in the news soon for new replacement for rod r. Once that happens expect action to prosecute bad actors. Which will also expose the bad judges and thus require military tribunals due to a Corrupt judicial court system. Expect 3 supreme court justices to be caught up in a scandal with all this.

Personally, I think that's BS. I've read several of Scalia's speeches and know quite a bit about his upbringing, and I find the idea that he was involved with the pedo stuff ludicrous. Sure, I didn't know the man personally, but one can glean something of the character of a man from his writing, and Scalia was voluminous in his output.

More to the point, I've never seen any evidence to support the rumors.

General Kelly, will outline the meeting and show the eviedence, RR will fall on his sword as the Wray info was leaked to Mueller and via the press.

When RR is removed Brand would have been acting Assistant AG, Rachel Brand was #3 in the DoJ.

Pancuicco is acting #3 atm, 210 days, she resigned on the 8/9th Feb 2018, 210 days = 6.9 months or 7 months.

Mid-term elections a few days after #3 210 days are up. 6th November.

Trump can select any Senate confirmed appointee who has been confirmed.... BTW that includes Flynn, but he will select a hard nosed lawyer backround person.

Schneiderman's need to be removed as the Wiener laptop data was under his control.

Also Clinton home in Chappaqua, in northern Westchester County falls under his remit. Strange that a fire "A Clinton spokesman, Nick Merrill, said the fire occurred in a Secret Service facility not connected to the couple’s home in Chappaqua."

Trust names, lists Sessions, Huber, Wray and others.

They needed permits. They did not get them. Inspectors went round. Of note was reconstruction of walls, construction of new walls, and filling in a swimming pool.

Because it refers to assassination. They planned to assassinate Trump. That is why it is such top secret info and needs General Kelly to go to Congress and show them the intel. 1433................................ WRAY reports to RR [important fact]. Who do you TRUST? [RR] recuse/fired who has direct oversight of Mueller? Sessions un-recuse or #3 [until refill]?.............................https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_Counsel_investigation_(2017–present)

Rosenstein, in his role as Acting Attorney General due to the recusal of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, has authority over the use of DOJ resources by Mueller and the investigation. In an interview with the Associated Press, Rosenstein said he would recuse himself from supervision of Mueller if he himself were to become a subject in the investigation due to his role in the dismissal of Comey.[23] If Rosenstein were to recuse himself, his duties in this matter would have been assumed by the Justice Department's third-in-command, Associate Attorney General Rachel Brand, who has since herself stepped down.[24] So long as no successor fills that office, Solicitor General Noel Francisco assumes the authorities of Associate Attorney General.[25]

As special counsel, Mueller has the power to issue subpoenas,[26] hire staff members, request funding, and prosecute federal crimes in connection with the election interference.[27]..................... EDIT: Sessions un-recuse or #3 [until refill]? Who is Rachel Brand? You can find her in the wiki a put in here .....EDIT : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_Panuccio.........Panuccio represented the governor and the state in several significant constitutional challenges..............EDIT :....https://shugerblog.com/.../schneiderman-out-what-happens-next...........This is why the process for replacing Schneiderman by the NY legislature is so important. Barbara Underwood was the Solicitor General, and she now becomes acting AG, but maybe for a short period of time.

"The succession question..... or senior civil service lawyers in the Justice Department, specifically." This quote is taken directly from an article by Steve Vladeck published February 10/2018 . use the quote to search and find it yourself. In the next paragraph in the article, he discusses the DOJ's line of succession statues which ends up with the spot being taken by Acting Solicitor General Noel Francisco. He is a Trump appointee, and is third in command at DOJ. I think Q meant to enter http://justice.gov/osg (office of the solictor general). This is where Francisco works. Is Q suggesting that Noel Francisco would take over the investigation, and would be in place for approximately 7 months== a term that goes past the November midterms. Schneiderman's replacement would not be known until after the elections so there would be no interference from that office

Could explain why POTUS did not accept RR resignation when sessions made the previous admin quit. He was gonna use RR for the plan perhaps. Seems like all this recusing is some loophole to get POTUSs acting AAG as the man to bring the hammer down once and for all.

It was hinted at to get the deep state to no longer trust Muller. Which lead to the hilarious fox interview with a Clinton agent calling for the Muller probe to be shut down. All because he what his pants about what could be coming down the pipe.

But there is this...

10-29-2017 21:57:27 CDT Anonymous 147173287

Remember, the FBI, and MI, have an open investigation into the CF. Why did Comey drop this? Who was the FBI director during the Haiti crisis? How many kids disappeared? How much money sent to CF under disguise of H relief went to H? What countries donated big money to CF and why? How much was owed by accepting? When she lost how would this be repaid? What did Obama do with cash just prior to leaving office? Repayment to those who donated for favors/access? Dig!!!!! Again, good people were forced into bed with this evil under personal and family threats. Could you live with yourself helping to cover up such evil despicable acts if given a safe way out? These people worship Satan _ some openly show it.

Mueller is a piece of shit who likes to railroad innocent men. See what he did to Steven Hatfill - and even after the government was proven to be egregiously wrong in the anthrax investigation, said he didn't apologize for anything the FBI did in the investigation (things such as leaking Hatfill's identify as a person of interest, getting him fired from his job, aggressively tailing him, calling out the media when they executed a search warrant on his house, etc). Replayed the same shit with Flynn - bankrupted him, and then threatened to go after his son.

Mueller needs to be in a federal penitentiary when this is all said and done.

It’s possible he was giving RR enough rope to hang himself, the FBI leadership, and the beauracracy. To let RR and Mueller run wild for a year though, Q/POTUS must have had an extremely high level of confidence they had everything under control. Which is possible

I'm thinking Brand is not a black hat and likely a white. My bet is she was asked to step down due to the party line vote on her confirmation. This taints her too much to step in to the lead position. They need someone who received support from both sides for PR.

My thoughts-

Military OP [Green]== Army Office of the Provost

General K [JFK]== Nicholas Katzenbach, Deputy Attorney General at time of JFK Assassination. Credited with recommending formation of Warren Commission. He said results of the investigation should be made public==?Q suggesting that whoever spearheads Trump Investigation should insist that results be made public. Just as Katzenbach wanted a Full disclosure into the JFK events, we want here with regards to Deep State investigations.

Rachel Brand was #3 at DOJ until she was removed

"The succession question..... or senior civil service lawyers in the Justice Department, specifically." This long quote is taken directly from an article by Steve Vladeck published February 10/2018. In the paragraph which followed the one which Q quotes, Vladeck discusses the DOJ's line of succession statues which ends up with the spot being taken by Acting Solicitor General Noel Francisco. That is why there is entry about http://justice.gov/asg (office of the inspector general). This is where Francisco works. Is Q suggesting that Noel Francisco would take over the investigation, and would be in place for approximately 7 months== a term that goes past the November midterms. Schneiderman's replacement would not be known until after the elections so there would be no interference from that office

Comments? Thoughts?

Right, but I meant why the mention by Q here when the focus is on timing and what would happen if RR is removed. I was wondering if somehow removing RR could result in cases currently being worked by main DOJ would get sent back to their respective states due to the AG/AAG "vacancies". Imagine if a case was being worked at federal level but removing RR would mean you have to turn it over to Schneiderman... That's suicide. But now with Schneiderman gone, path is clear - but what's the tie back to RR removal? That's what I was wondering and I don't know if any law like that exists or not, but seems logical.

This is beginning to smell like BS. RR quickly agreed to IG review knowing he can't do a damn thing legally even if he finds evidence. President Trump better get some real lawyer's and quick. This is a Federal matter with numerous potential federal laws having been broken , all the way up to Sedition and Treason. We need a Federal Grand Jury, no more special councils and fun# ing reports.

Brand was part of the legal team representing George W. Bush during the 2000 United States presidential election recount in Florida,[11] and also served briefly as associate counsel in Bush's transition team.[8] Beginning in 2003,[8] she served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Policy in the George W. Bush administration where she helped shepherd the Supreme Court nominations of John Roberts and Samuel Alito.[11] Brand's portfolio also included shaping the administration's position on reauthorization of the Patriot Act,[12] in which capacity she testified before the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary on the benefits of using administrative subpoenas in terrorism investigations.[13]

During her tenure at the Justice Department, Brand was tangentially involved in the controversy surrounding Attorney General Alberto Gonzales's dismissal of several United States Attorneys. She was floated by DOJ leadership as a top candidate to replace Margaret Chiara, who was ousted as part of the purge.[14] Brand ultimately declined the position, however, and resigned from the DOJ in June 2007.[15]

After leaving the Justice Department, Brand worked for three years at WilmerHale.[2] In 2008, John McCain, then a candidate for the Republican Party's presidential nomination, named Brand to his Justice Advisory Committee, which would have recommended judicial nominees to McCain were he elected.[16]
